Chapter 10 - Their second contact

Mia looked at the strange figure in front of her and then he had then noticed her presence. He turned back immediately and then left the space of the vending machine giving her room to go to it. She knew who he was but this time he was putting on his blazer. He still looked hot with it though. He was the one who humiliated her in the presence of the other classes.

She didn't even give him a glance or response. He scoffed looking at her behind and then spoke out. "You don't have much but so much ego." She got her bottled water and then placed her card in her pocket. She had wanted to leave but then he held unto her hand.

" Alright! I just wanted to say sorry for that." He added and waited for her response which he wasn't expecting to be accepted by her just yet but he was sincerely ready to push harder. She finally turned around and faced him and then stared at his hand on hers. He noticed it too and quickly let go of her.

She crossed her arms around her chest and then gave out a response. " Alright!" She replied and he was so shocked that he nearly fell to the ground as he lost his balance but manage to compose himself. Mia Campbell accepted hus apology. She had never accepted anyone's apologies not even when compensated.

" How about this? I would buy you a meal." He told her walking a bit closer to her while she moves backwards. " No." She let out. Wilder know she was gonna be tough so he quickly let on his pleading side. " You said you accept my apology, how do you prove that if you don't accept the lunch invite?" He continued and then stepped forward once more towards Mia. She was lost in his eyes as she was overwhelmed by his sharp looks.

"Alright. I would accept the lunch invite with you." She spoke out and then he nodded. "Then would on Saturday work out?" He asked once more and she gave him a positive response. She held her water bottle more tightly as she clenched her fist on it. She hated being this easy for anyone but then there is this demon god that is so handsome and for some reasons he seems to always sweep her off her feet.

She left the arena and then went to meet Luna who was mad at her for taking that long to get water from a vending machine close by.

~An hour later ~

It was an hour away from school's dismiss. Tomorrow was the day. The day who the mystery person had decided to ruin her teenage world. She already seemed tensed but not too much as she had a plan being figured out already. She intends to make tomorrow school's assembly the most memorable one for their target.

She walked down the hall with Luna and then their eyes caught someone familiar. It was Becky. She walked towards that direction but then hastened her steps as she walked but then she was desisted from moving any further. Mia stepped forward walking round her in circles and then looking at her digustfully. She then stopped and placed her lips on her ears, whispering softly

" Your games are over becky. You are no one to toy with my emotions or someone to threaten me." She stepped away from her slowly and then held her shoulders.

She brushes off some unseen dirts from her uniform and then asked her to run along while she laughed along with Luna. Becky wasn't afraid but she managed to keep herself cool from the anger already surged in her. She walked away without hesitation holding her fist tightly as she walked away.

Soon school was over and everyone left from their homes. Mia got home and was looking jovial and happy.

As the moon cast its silvery glow through the window, Mia lay in bed, a sense of serenity washing over her like a gentle breeze. For the first time in as long as she could remember, her mind was quiet, her heart at peace.

Tomorrow was the day she had been waiting for, the day her plan would finally come to fruition. The thought brought a soft smile to her lips as she gazed up at the starry sky.

Mia's eyes, usually bright with a mix of determination and anxiety, now shone with a soft, hopeful light. Her breathing was slow and steady, her body relaxed, as if the weight of the world had been lifted from her shoulders.

In this moment, she felt truly happy, truly free. The darkness of night seemed to vibrate with possibility, and Mia's heart sang with anticipation. She knew that tomorrow would bring its own set of challenges, but for now, she simply basked in the warmth of her own triumph.

As she drifted off to sleep, a sense of calm enveloped her, like a soft blanket wrapping around her soul. Mia knew that she was ready, ready to face whatever came next, armed with a sense of purpose and a heart full of hope.

~The next day~

Mia woke up with a spring in her step, her heart still aglow with the excitement of her plan. As she got ready for school, her movements were light and effortless, her smile reflecting in the mirror like a ray of sunshine.

She couldn't chose her favorite outfit, a bright yellow sundress that seemed to match the optimism buzzing inside her as she had to get ready for school. Her fingers moved deftly as she braided her hair, the soft tendrils falling down her back like a golden waterfall.

Mia's eyes sparkled as she applied a light dusting of makeup, her skin radiating a warm glow. She felt like a different person, transformed by the promise of her plan.

As she slipped on her shoes, Mia felt a sense of purpose, like she was walking towards her destiny. Her backpack seemed lighter, her feet barely touching the ground as she floated out the door.

The morning sunlight danced across her face, illuminating her happy smile. Mia felt alive, electrified by the thrill of her secret. She couldn't wait to see her plan unfold, to witness the impact it would have on her school, her friends, and her own life.

Mia had requested the elaborate breakfast the night before, instructing the staff to prepare a sumptuous spread fit for a special occasion. "Make it extra special, Mrs Fiona," she had said with a sly smile, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

And so, Mrs Fiona had pulled out all the stops, laying out a feast that would impress even the most discerning palate. The fine china, crystal glassware, and delicate silverware all added to the luxurious ambiance, making Mia feel like royalty as she took her seat at the table.

As she indulged in the decadent breakfast, Mia couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, knowing that she had orchestrated this moment of indulgence. Her plan was set in motion, and now, she was fueling up for the day ahead, ready to take on whatever lay in store.

The crystal glassware sparkled as she sipped freshly squeezed orange juice, accompanied by a delicate china cup of steaming hot coffee. The aroma of freshly baked croissants wafted through the air, enticing her to take a bite of the flaky, buttery pastry.

Her plate was adorned with scrambled eggs, infused with truffles and caviar, a decadent treat reserved for special occasions. The golden yolk glistened in the morning light, beckoning her to take a bite. Crispy bacon, smoked to perfection, added a satisfying crunch to her meal.

As she savored each morsel, Mia felt like a queen, indulging in a feast fit for the elite. The opulent spread was a testament to her family's wealth and status, a reminder of the privileged world she inhabited. Yet, amidst the extravagance, Mia's mind was focused on her plan, her thoughts simmering with anticipation.

When she was done she called Luna and then headed to school..
