It wasn't until Tahra was sure that Zane was actually gone that she realized what she had done. She had kissed him wholeheartedly, and she would have been lying if she said she hated it. The taste of him devouring her still lingered on her tongue in a way she couldn't express as she lifted her fingers to touch her lips. 'Does this mean I'm getting back with Zane?' she wondered, not knowing what else it could mean.
Soon, the end of her shift came, and Tahra disappeared from her post the second she no longer had to stay there, immediately making her way back to her apartment, which was still being repaired. She hadn't been there since the day she left, and she simply wanted to know how many days were left until they were done.
