Inwardly, he was more amused than pissed off as he smiled at Tahra with such a sincere and honest smile that he made her feel a little guilty for harshly spurning his advances.
Still, she didn't falter.
"I would have already rejected you if I wasn't still bonded to—"
"That's actually something I'm still curious about. Why exactly are you bonded to him?" Ashe curiously asked and Tahra couldn't even give him an honest response since she herself didn't know.
She could lie that it was to ensure that she wouldn't feel the full connection of a mate bond with Arshe but deep down she knew it was nothing but lies.
"For all you know, he could be with another woman right at this very moment!" Arshe continued, slightly pissed off to see the frown that immediately appeared on her face.
