Next morning, Uhhh… I don't wanna go please God today I want my train to be missed please, that was my will but today first time I reached at station on time. The train was late and I was so mad at driver why it has to be today, why he is late today not on any other day. I was peeking through door and a hand grab my shoulder "Mr. Walsh, please be anybody but not him" I turn back while praying in my mind and I got revealed that was Roy. "You get the crap out of me" Roy was confused "Are you alright" he said.
"Yes I am fine, what are you doing here" I asked. "I was looking for some documents and I saw you peeking through door I just want to say hello but I didn't think you will get scared" he replied. At the moment Scarlet hug, me from behind, "Miri! How are you on time today" she asked me with a bright smile.
"Yes I was thinking that too" Roy said with a smiling expression on his face. "Tell me, you guys don't want me on time then I will not be on time anymore moreover I really don't want to come. But I have to cause you say you want to talk about something important and I have to come" I said to Scarlet angrily.
"Ughhh…Miri, Why are you so adorable, thanks for coming on short notice" Scarlet squeezing me in a great hug. Then we sit on our tables she spin my chair towards her, "Tell me honestly" she asked me in serious mood. "Yes's..." I was confused at a moment but I get my thoughts together. "I know you get the offer to held our foreign meeting, I know you have a talent you shouldn't underestimate yourself so much" I was stunned.
"How did you know about it" I asked while avoiding eye contact. Mr. Walsh told me to give you the details of foreign meeting. "Well, that's make sense" I said. I took the documents from Scarlet and start reading them, the requirements were quiet simple but the thing that catch my eyes was that I have to work with an employ of Sales department.
I asked Scarlet about that person but she didn't have a clue she advised me to ask Mr. Walsh about it or go to sales department and ask their manager. I was in no mood to face that snobbish man so I decided to go to sales department myself.
The manager was the pretty lady and have a humble personality, I told her about meeting and she asked to call that employ. She tell me that he is a cooperative one and have good situation handling skill. I was happy that I don't have to worry about manage everything alone.
"Yes Mam, you called me" I heard a familiar voice behind me I turned and I was stunned with my eyes widen and a smile touching my face. Lucas… he was standing in front of me in a black suit, his hair were straight up backward, seeing me with his eyes wide open with surprise. Miri…
I was standing with emotions of nervousness and happiness in me flowing at the same time. Ms. James he is Lucas Smith, an able employ and star of our department. "Nice to meet you Ms. James, I am Lucas Smith it's a pleasure to work with you I hope I will be useful to you". He introduced him and pull his hand forward we shake hand. "Yes, I am looking forward too" I came back at my office I have to report Mr. Walsh about current situation. I go to his office, I knock but he didn't answer I open the door and goes in. He was talking with someone on phone. He tell me to sit on sofa, I sit and start looking around his office.
He ended the call and sit on his seat I stand up and move towards his seat. Ms. James, I gave you the charge of meeting and I am not going to listen your any excuse if you don't wanna do it. "No, Sir I will do it, I am here to report about the situation" I said. "Well, that's new I thought you came here to reject the offer. Can I ask about the reason of this sudden change" he asked while looking at me with surprise. "Nothing particular Sir" I said while meeting his gaze. So did you meet with your partner yet. Yes sir! I said smiling. He stare at me I stared at him like it know how to make that gaze too. He evert his eyes and said "So when you start working on this project" "From today" Sir. "Very well" he said with gloomy face.
