Raven walked over to the window, gazing out at the bustling street below. "Eventually, they will. But it might take longer than we'd like."
Seraphina frowned, her brow furrowed in thought. "It's just strange, isn't it? The way they made it seem like this thief was almost... prepared."
Raven nodded, though his mind was already turning in another direction. Something about the way the innkeeper had seemed so nervous earlier bothered him.
'Was he just worried about the theft, or was there something else?' He pushed the thought aside for now, not wanting to jump to conclusions.
He turned back to Seraphina, offering her a comforting smile. "Let's not think too much about it. We came here to relax, right? We'll let the guards handle the rest."
Seraphina nodded, though her worry didn't completely fade. She lay back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. "I guess you're right. It's just hard to shake off this feeling."
