Using the rope, they climbed out of the cave. The air was fresh as they emerged, finding themselves on top of a small hill. Raven looked out at the surrounding landscape.
"We made it," Seraphina said, breathing out a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, but something tells me this isn't going to get easier," Raven replied as he eyed the dense forest ahead.
"Let's head to the next town." Unlike Raven, Seraphina was looking forward to it.
Without wasting any time, they moved through the forest quickly, reaching the town of Pincla in about an hour. The town was small, with cobblestone streets and simple wooden houses. A few market stalls lined the main square, selling fruits and handmade crafts. It had a quiet charm, though nothing too special at first glance.
