Seraphina looked as delicate as glass, like she might shatter at any moment. Lili, her maid, noticed how pale Seraphina was and immediately decided to do something about it.
"I'll tell the kitchen to prepare something nutritious for you, madame," Lili said softly, trying not to worry her.
After Lili left, the room fell into a quiet calm. The day was peaceful, but Seraphina's occasional groans of discomfort broke the silence. Pillen, her maid, worked diligently, placing warm towels on Seraphina's back, doing her best to ease the pain.
"Is it too hot?" Pillen asked, looking worried.
Seraphina shook her head slightly, "A little… but it's okay. It feels good, actually."
As the heat from the towel soaked into her skin, Seraphina could feel her muscles relaxing bit by bit. She buried her face into the pillow, letting the warmth work its magic.
"Thank you, Pillen. Honestly, without you all, I'd probably still be stuck in bed."
