Seraphina stirred from her sleep, stretching as her eyes fluttered open. Beside her, Raven was already awake, leaning against the bed's wooden frame, deep in thought. He glanced at her as she shifted, offering a small smile.
"Good morning," he said softly, his voice still carrying the warmth of sleep.
Seraphina yawned and sat up, rubbing her eyes.
"Morning... how long have you been awake?" she asked, her voice groggy.
"Not too long," Raven replied. "I wanted to let you sleep a little longer."
Seraphina smiled but before she could say anything more, a loud knock interrupted their quiet moment. It came from the door, followed by the innkeeper's voice.
