The Dinner
Luciana's POV
The ride is quiet as we go back home. Jack and Regina was totally against it but I could only give in this way. She was still my stepmom after all and I couldn't just ignore her request. It was really unlike her to want to see me,maybe she was starting to see reasons to change.
"I honestly can't understand what's going on in your head,Luciana. This woman never loved you, she will never love you. Why won't you just listen?" Regina has been complaining from the very first time I got Jack to get in.
"I would rather we go and see what she is up to than seat at home and judge. What do you think?" I focus my eyes on the road and I think once more about home.
"You never listen." We all keep quiet until finally we arrive at home.
The security guard opens the door like he was expecting us. Well, now that I managed to secure a man, it was sure to be better at least.
