Jack's POV
Upon arriving home, I was greeted with an announcement I had been expecting for quite some time: Kevin had ascended to the position of chairman within the company.
We had taken the first flight back from India after the little drama that took place in the prime minister's office. Thank goodness, I was able to realise early enough that my invitation to come over to India by the prime minister was just part of the plan to get at Luciana, although I was yet to understand why.
Well, while others might have been shocked by the sudden shift in the leadership of the company, I wasn't. I'd seen it coming for months. Frankly, it was a relief—Kevin could handle the headaches of running the business now, freeing me from the monotony of the office. I needed time to focus on what really mattered.
