Luciana's POV
As Jack's voice faded from the conversation with Jax, I found myself lost in thought, still processing the flash drive he had just shown me. Something in me made me feel like I was betraying him, with the information I had received from Jacob Morgan.
I wanted to tell him what I know, what I had found out, but something in me kept preventing me from doing so. I had to let it go and wait till he returns to join me.
I sat quietly, still under the blanket, feeling the weight of Jack's earlier kiss and the emotions that had unfolded between us. It was a moment of intimacy, but beyond that, it was a breaking point.
Jack was right after all. We've been actually drifting apart, but something had changed last night. There was a sense of closeness I hadn't felt in a long time, yet there was also a lingering guilt in my chest.
