Jack's POV
"Officers," I greeted the cops. "To what do I owe this visit?"
"Mr Jack," the first officer began, his eyes scanning through the area like he was looking for something. I wasn't sure what it was they were looking for, but I just hoped it wasn't Nico. I don't know what issues he had the cops and I definitely didn't want to be dragged into any of it

"There was a car which was found by the road side. It was found in flames and you were the ones who passed through that route not quite long ago. We just wanted to ask if you had by chance noticed anything earlier on your way?"
For a moment I could hear my heart pound. I didn't know things would get to this extent. All I wanted was to get the confirmation to my suspicions that Richard was the one behind Luciana's adoption.
"Officers, I didn't notice anything or did you?" I turned to Jax.
