Jack's POV
I try so hard to contain my emotions but looking at her makes it even more difficult.
"Ugh." I bite my lip trying to shut it in, the pain and all of it. But Luciana keeps looking at me with those puppy eyes that ignites my thought making the pain even more unbearable.
"Don't look at me." I turn my face away trying the best to control my thoughts.
"I said I was sorry and you said you were okay, what did I do wrong?" She wipes the snot running out from her nose with her hands.
"Hey Luciana. Look at me, I mean it, momma, look at me." I force myself to sit up straight, soreness tearing me apart.
