After being overwhelmed by the complete memory of his previous life and the bright lights that greeted him at the gates of rebirth, Hale woke at the sounds of whispers and small talks. His eyelids fluttered open to reveal a set of light gray and dark gray eyes. He heard multiple gasps around him as his sight took a while to adjust and focus on where he had been brought to.
