An hour to sunrise, Rayven stubbornly refused to give up until he found her and made sure she is safe. He darted like a fiery ball of light over the sleeping humans high above the ground, searching for her. He landed powerfully at the roof of a building, the breeze that came along with his wings was strong enough to upturn many plates of roof. His hands rested on the chimney as it felt like he was using more energy than his body could give him. His long hair falling over his face as he continued to bleed heavily from his nostrils wondering what the fuck was wrong with him.
He could still move, but he was growing unnecessarily weaker, which was an unusual thing for a demon like himself to feel. It felt like his legs couldn't even bear his weight anymore that he had to collapse beside the old chimney to catch his breath.
