Violet's given name at the orphanage was June. Anastasia June White. They were each given three names with the last one being the one they all had in common.
June was the easiest of her names they could all pronounce, and she was introduced shortly after Michael's departure. None has ever seen the sick one be more depressed after she stopped sneaking to the back of the house to talk to the unclean spirit every night until dawn.
