It felt more like Veronica was giving her a house tour than she expected from Madam Rose Thorn, who just moved like a zombie before them. She was also glad to have Veronica by her side. She seemed very nice and friendly and wouldn't let go of her hand as they moved up the million-dollar staircase.
Ebony was quick to spot the entrance of the dinning room and reminded herself to visit it once she's done settling in. She could bring a book with her this time and enjoy the view. She could also bring Hale and Veronica along with her too, so they could love it together.
Rayven's house was beyond beautiful and impressive. It was modern and designed in a way never to look humble. The only thing that bothered her about this extravagance was the poor lightning. She wondered if it was intentional, or if they were all too busy to notice.
