Ebony would forever remember the looks on their faces the moment they saw her standing before her. That look was more than just a surprise. She sensed resentment in them which made her wonder what she could have done to deserve their hatred so much. Hale observed each one of them, understanding what might have happened here. He smiled as this was just the beginning for all of them.
Ebony stared at Hale as she finally understood why he brought her here. She slowly held his hand in hers to make him look at her for a second to tell him this was not necessary. Hale observed the look she gave him and how she slowly shook her head to tell him no. Hale smiled at her and told her this was necessary. It was now or never.
