They stood there, both staring at each other in an awkward silence. With Ebony, still holding on to the door and ready to slam it in his face. This is the first time she and their creepy butler have faced each other like this. Why he was here at her door so early in the morning bothered her a lot. When he wasn't saying anything but glaring down at her, she considered stepping back inside and closing the door like she planned.
"You will not be going to school today," His slightly breathy voice said to her, causing her eyebrows to be raised high up to her hairlines.
"What?"
The Wraith nodded as if he just communicated clearly to her. "Your Heartbeat party is tomorrow night. There are some things you need to know and many things I need to teach you beforehand. There are also some rules and manners that need to be inculcated to ensure you have the best night of your life."
