They all listened to how Mammon reminded them all of their downfall and past failures. They all glared at him with gritted teeth how he shamelessly mocked their existence and who they were. He opened all old wounds all in the name of telling a sick story and laughed so crazily when his house was thriving on earth, mingling with the mortals and seeking redemption.
''They really think they could be free from the everlasting chains of sin I put around each of your necks. Even Adam's new wife couldn't resist my temptation. One of our projects we all worked on when we were still in heaven, and we all believed they would make a difference.'' Mammon shook his head in pity. ''It's such a shame how fucked up we all are now because of numerous reasons I am sure I would be among.''
The angel wasn't still responding to his ''story''.
''Our past is not really that captivating for a story, isn't it?''
No one answered.
