One of his hands encircled her small neck as he drew her close to himself to glare at her. What surprised him the most and made his eyes soften was when her small hands wrapped around his fingers on her neck and began to sob and tremble. His act triggered countless flashbacks and terrible incidents. She would rather not anger him any further if she freed her neck from being potentially strangled but at least she could hold him to at least make it easier for her to breathe.
Ever since it happened, it has been nightmare upon nightmare. And she was scared of one day meeting another that genuinely wanted her dead and chose to do so via strangulation. She held his hands and prepared for what might occur. She might be spared from a human, but a demon like him could actually finish her off like he said.
