Ebony left Damon's office satisfied to have the demon let Veronica attend the Halloween gala. Though she intended to meet with Rayven concerning the issue if Damon remained stubborn. On her way back to her room, she took out her phone to message Veronica that she should be prepared and free to be present at the party. The three—line long dancing emoji brought a smile to her face.
Veronica then asked the girl what she would be wearing for Halloween and suggested they should both go for emergency shopping for a set of stylish Halloween costumes they could both wear as a power couple before everyone. Ebony politely declined and told her someone had already offered to make her costume and there was no need to go shopping. A quick flashback of the shopping spree they both had with her army of friends made her believe shopping with the woman would be a bad idea.
