She wallowed in deep thoughts, sinking herself gradually until the water was able to reach her entire body. She stretched out to reach the sponge but hesitated, her eyes fixed on her broken arm.
"Damn it," Jerlsdine cursed, sitting back into the water. "How long does it take Rachel to get me the things? How am I supposed to take a bath?"In the process of murmuring, she made eye contact with the red switch a little below the shower handle. "I can reach it right? Without wetting the cast?"
She braced herself up, taking deep breaths in and out, and lifted her upper body, while balancing herself in the water. Giving it a go, Jeraldine hit the alarm switch on the wall.
Ring, Ring!
She fell back into the bathtub, frowning in displeasure as the alarm went on, beeping loudly as the seconds went by.
