There is a middle-age man walking in front of many kids. He is leading them to go see their affinity inside of the academy, it is a huge building that is as big as a city.

The middle-aged man stop in front of the huge building. "So kids we will be checking your affinity with essence."

"Up first is Aino Solita. We will be seeing your affinity. Place your hands on this crystal and release your essence inside it to see your affinity with essence." 

Aino places his hands on the crystal. The crystal started to release dark and purple particles that are called essence. 

"A, Aino Solita, you have essence with death, darkness, shadow and destruction."

The middle-aged man said with a sorrowful expression. Because it has been said that people with those affinities have dark souls, that means you will live a terrible life. 

If you have one of those affinity you have a dark soul, if you have 2 or 3 of them your soul will be darker and if you have all four of them it's said that you have a soul darker than onyx. And the darker your soul is, the more terrible your life will be. 

The middle-aged man handed Aino a card with his name on it. 

"Place your essence inside this card to claim it as your. And when you finish doing that it will lead you to your dorm. You will have a roommate, it can be either a boy or a girl as your roommate." 

When he finished saying that he started to check the other kids' affinity. 

Aino started to walk where his card was telling him to go. 

'Ugh… this so annoying I already knew I was going to have a terrible life because of this damn curse I have and yet… wait is yet the right word to use or another word… ahh who cares if it's the right word to use. But… even all my affinity is dark. I hate this, why do I have to have a terrible life.' 

'Why do I have such a trash fate… hahahaha, why am I even laughing in my head?'

Aino sighed and started to walk to his dorm.

The curse that Aino has prevented him from having a normal conversation with anyone. Ever since he was born he had this curse with him. Every time he tries to have a conversation with anyone he will start to feel immense pain in his head. 

Or if he tries to tell anyone about this curse he will start to feel immense pain that hurts more than when he tries to have a normal conversation. So he was never able to tell anyone about this curse. 

So he gave up trying to have a normal conversation and trying to tell anyone about the curse. So everyone just thinks that he is a quiet person who does not like to talk to anyone. 

Even his parents and siblings stopped trying to have a normal conversation with him, they all just ignored him. The only time they say something to him is when they want him to do something for them. 

So he usually just spends all his time inside his room studying or inside the training room to practice his sword skills. And you can say he is pretty confident with his sword skills. Since the only thing Aino does is study and train.

'Sigh… I wonder why I was born with this damn curse, is it even a curse? I am quite curious to know if it's even a curse or not… hmm… I'm already at the dorm.'
