He had just opened the door when his cell phone started ringing frequently these past few days.
Unknown numbers.
With an intuition that demanded 'this number must be answered,' he answered with composure.
"Xu Jingxi."
It was Liu Huaiying on the other end. They hadn't been in contact for over a year, and he hadn't saved her number.
Xu Jingxi said nothing, undid the buttons of his shirt with one hand, picked up the neatly folded robe from the foot of the bed, and went into the bathroom to take a shower.
He didn't react much either.
Liu Huaiying chuckled, "Is it you behind Eight. Mining? You are more than just a shareholder, aren't you."
Of course, Liu Huaiying was suspicious because her interest led her to think of no one else but Xu Jingxi.
"I have no evidence, but you're the only person I can think of," Liu Huaiying added.
Xu Jingxi spoke in an even tone, "Not a bad recovery."
"A few paintings, our Mr. Xu of Forty-Nine City isn't so petty, is he?" Liu Huaiying said.
