April was anything but peaceful, Leh Ying stepped out to the bedroom balcony to enjoy the breeze, while on a video call with Yi Jia.
Yi Jia was enjoying herself at Hon Kong Disneyland, with the backdrop of Disneyland's light show. For a solid 20 minutes, only half of her Mickey Mouse headband was visible: "I just had to share this with you."
Leh Ying nodded, "Hmm, it's pretty."
With a laid-back attitude, Yi Jia showed her a giant roasted turkey leg she had just bought: "You've been replying less recently, are you busy?"
Leh Ying sat down on the sofa: "I'm eating lychees."
Yi Jia suddenly asked in a whisper, "You're in the mood for it, huh? Mr. Xu isn't around?"
Leh Ying didn't respond much, only saying she didn't know.
This time, Yi Jia whispered even more faintly: "You know, Ah Jie has been exiled to Hon Kong City."
Ah Jie? Leh Ying remembered him; he was close friends with Liang Wenye. Surprised by the sudden little secret, she asked, "Why?"
