Uncle Lian put down the brandy he was holding: "Sitting in the courtyard for tea, tasting wine, and watching the little sparrows."
Xu Jingxi looked out of the window, his gaze directly across to the tea table in the courtyard.
He saw Leh Ying standing under the magnolia tree, quietly observing a small sparrow; from time to time, she would take a sip of her drink, seemingly very satisfied with the rich, sour and sweet aroma of the wine in her cup.
Xu Jingxi retracted his gaze and swiftly typed on his computer: "She's staying here for the next couple of days."
Since she would stay for a couple of days, Uncle Lian thought for a moment about preparing the young girl's necessities; while organizing the files on his desk, he nodded, "Alright, I will make a phone call to arrange that."
Having said this, Uncle Lian took the tray in his arms, ready to turn around and leave.
