Chapter 99 - A Discarded Jewel (Part One)

Floating above the bloodstone spirit tool, an odd dance was taking place. The smaller figure resembled the Burning Yang Sun Bear that had nearly killed Wu Ling, however, the fur of this bear was much longer and it splashed water with every step or swipe of its claws. Dancing just out of range of it was a blue and white sable that moved in a swirl of snowflakes. The sable didn't seem content to avoid the bear either, rather, it bounced off the bear's attacks, using the energy of the bear to propel it forward. Before the image faded away, the sable perched mischievously on top of the bear, like it needed everyone to know who was in charge before it departed.
