Chapter 83 - chapter 83

The ships sailed away from King's Landing, cutting through the waves as William's journey to Storm's End began. The sea breeze carried a sense of urgency, echoing the concerns that lingered within the Red Keep.

Rhaenyra, who was sitting with Viserys in the council room. With her mind preoccupied, excused herself from the council room, intending to check on Malaevor and oversee the remaining preparations for William's swift departure.

Meanwhile, on the ship's deck, William stood with a stoic expression, gazing towards the horizon. After a while, the ships started to move. And tge familiar sights of King's Landing gradually faded from view, replaced by the vast expanse of the Narrow Sea.

William sighed as he looked at the rippling waves below him.

Although, he wanted to stay with Rhanerya and Malaevor to insure their safety in King's Landing.

But, he still has duty to preform. And their is still Viserys their. So I doubt Otto Hightower will try to do anything for the time being.

Until Viserys in his sleep that is. But that's still far away.

So William has time to prepare for that. For now, he must prepare for the task at hand.

...

As the ship sailed through the day, William found solace in the rhythmic sound of the waves against the hull. He always wondered what his past self would think of him right now.

He now has a wife, a child and a beautiful family. In addition to a dragon.

This made William smile, he wa dtruly grateful for everything.

The crew who were on board, moved with practiced efficiency, guided by the currents and the wind.

On the balcony of Malaevors room, Rhaenyra placed a gentle hand on Malaevor's shoulder, her eyes filled with maternal warmth. "My sweet dragon, your father is strong and resilient. He'll face whatever challenges come his way and return to us."

Malaevor, looking up with a mixture of concern and nodded. "I know, Mother. We Targaryens face challenges head-on. Father will come back."

She smiled: "That's the spirit, my love. Our family's strength runs through your veins."

As the moonlight bathed the balcony, they stood together, a mother and son bound by the blood of dragons, watching the sea where William sailed into the unknown.

As night fell, the sea sparkled with the reflection of the moon, casting a silvery glow on the water.
