Chapter 75 - chapter 75

The morning sun cast its gentle light over Storm's End, signaling the beginning of the long-awaited journey to King's Landing. The courtyard bustled with activity as servants hurriedly loaded wagons with provisions, and the air was filled with the clatter of hooves and the occasional neigh of horses.

William, Rhaenyra, and Malevor emerged from the castle. With the horses, groomed and ready, awaiting their riders.

Malevor, who had was excited to revist the place he grew up in, looked at the scene with wide-eyed excitement. William, noticing his son's anticipation, patted him on the shoulder.

Rhaenyra, who was wearing a regal dress, shared a reassuring smile to Malevor. And then said: "Don't worry, we'll always have your back."

With a final check of their belongings, William mounted the carriage, that was designed to the taste of William. Rhaenyra gracefully also mounted it, with Malevor following suit.

As the procession began its slow advance through the gates of Storm's End, the castle seemed to bid them farewell. The road ahead stretching out.

The journey unfolded with a rhythm of its own. The rolling hills and meandering rivers of the Stormlands accompanied them on the travel.

As they traversed the countryside, William couldn't help but glance at Malevor, who was absorbing the sights..

....

Camps were set up at nightfall, the flickering campfires casting dancing shadows on the faces of the assembled party.

As the journey continued, the landscape changed, giving way to the sprawling plains that heralded the approach to King's Landing.

King's landing came into view. The city sprawls along the shores of Blackwater Bay, its towering red keep dominating the skyline.

Narrow, bustling streets wind through districts teeming with life, from the opulent Red Keep to the markets of Flea Bottom.

With King's Landing on the horizon, Malaevor looked outside of the carriage memorizing the bits of memory he still remembers from this place.

As they neared the gates of the capital, William glanced at Rhaenyra, a smile playing on his lips. "It seems, we are back to the place where we first met."
