Chapter 61 - chapter 61

A few years had passed since the birth of Malaevor, and the young prince had grown into an energetic and curious six-year-old. His silver hair, and striking blue eyes, A blend of his Targaryen and Baratheon heritage, flowed as he moved.

One bright day in King's Landing, the sun high in the sky, a training yard echoed with the sounds of clashing swords. Two figures engaged in a spirited duel, one a full-grown adult and the other a child around the age of 6, Malaevor. He was holding a wooden sword, as he tried to strike the adult.

The sparring continued; the child's swift strikes a testament to his young but growing prowess. His opponent, William, moved with the grace and precision of a seasoned warrior. As they clashed, it was evident that the bond between father and son extended beyond blood; it was a bond forged in the heat of training, in the shared pursuit of mastery.

Malaevor's tiny form darted with enthusiasm, his wooden sword connecting with William's in a series of quick blows. However, William still had a calm look on his face, and with a swift, calculated maneuver, he striked, which caused Malaevor to lose balance and get disarmed in the process, sending the wooden sword clattering to the ground.

Malaevor's eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and determination as he watched his weapon land at his feet. He looked up at his father, a spark of resolve in his eyes. William offered his hand, Malaevor accepted the gesture, as he looked at his father.

"That was good, my son," William praised, ruffling Malaevor's silver hair. "You're getting better with each passing day."

Malaevor, was truly talented. He was a perfect combination of him and Rhanerya.

Malaevor beamed at the praise, his young heart filled with a sense of accomplishment. "I'm going to be the best, just like you, Father."

Which caused William to smile, who could've thought that he, who was a boxer in his past life and had no other thought then boxing. Would have a child and would spend time with him like this.

"As long as you keep practicing and learning," William replied, "there's no doubt you'll become just like me."

Malaevor's enthusiasm remained unwavering, and the duo continued their training, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.

After a while, Malaevor was left on the ground panting while William remained standing with no hint of tiredness on his face.

William, then went up to Malaevor who was laying on the ground tired. And said: "Since, you did so well today. How about we go for a ride on my dragon?"

This immediately made, the tiredness of Malaevor disappear and then he sprung up from the ground and quickly said: "Yes!"

This made William chuckle, and ruffle Malaevor's white hair.

"Alright, let's go then" William said as he began walking in the direction where his dragon rests.
