"Hawkeye, what happened? I heard gunshots!" Coulson's voice came through the
communicator, accompanied by the sound of hurried footsteps.
"I… I don't know!"
Hawkeye looked confused: "I saw a medieval… um, berserker? Barbarian…"
"Hmm… what?"
Coulson sounded dazed: "A barbarian?"
"Yeah, a barbarian using strange techniques…"
Hawkeye searched the surroundings but found nothing. He told Coulson, "Have you
heard of techniques like 'Blink' or 'Moon-Fang Heaven Piercer (Getsuga Tensho)'? Oh,
and what does 'Demacia' mean?"
"...I haven't heard of those. I've recorded the terms and will look into them," Coulson
said. "Are you alright? What was his purpose?"
"I don't know. I'm fine. He just took my bow."
"...I'm on my way!"
---
SHIELD was dazed, clearly confused about what had happened.
On the other side, Arthur had not gone far. He saw Phil Coulson and his team searching
for Hawkeye through The Eye of Horus and chuckled as he casually retrieved
Hawkeye's bow.
"Wonder when Disassembler will be done upgrading…"
Before he could finish, he heard the sound of gears grinding.
[Disassembler Upgrade Complete!]
"...Hmm, that was quick!"
Arthur was bemused; it was a bit too coincidental. But thinking about it, it had been
nearly six months since the Disassembler started upgrading.
He had spent months adventuring with Star-Lord in space... and now the upgrade was
finally completed without any issues.
With a thought, he summoned the Disassembler.
In the next moment, a massive Disassembler appeared in Arthur's mind.
"Hmm… it looks like it's gotten bigger?"
Arthur noticed the change immediately.
In addition to the name changing to Beginner Tier 3 Disassembler, the entire
Disassembler had grown noticeably larger. Although it still looked quite worn, it now
had a much more 'majestic' feel.
Not only that, but the accompanying magic extractor had also grown considerably.
But apart from that, there were no other changes.
Arthur considered for a moment and chose to Disassemble Hawkeye's bow.
[Disassemble Purple Quality Bow?]
As the Disassembler's grinding sound started, Arthur also heard footsteps
approaching. He smiled and vanished from his spot.
After all the commotion, SHIELD would surely be searching for him.
However, with The Eye of Horus in the sky and Arthur's teleportation, even if he stood
right behind them, it would be hard for them to detect his presence.
After circling around a few times, SHIELD's search yielded no results, so they had to
return to interrogate Thor.
Arthur found a new hiding spot and began examining the Disassemble results.
[Decomposing equipment succeeded!]
[Beginner Bow Shooting Experience*35]
[Colorless Small Crystals*64]
[Profoundly Sharp Battle Soul]
[Disassemble Experience +3]
[Disassemble complete. Would you like to extract it at once?]
Arthur blinked; the results from the Disassemble were far more than he had expected!
Previously, he had Disassembled Purple Quality Items, like the Mark I or the armors
found in Yondu's warehouse... While he did get quite a bit from Disassembling those, it
never reached this level.
Why would a regular bow, even one used by Hawkeye, yield 64 colorless small
crystals from Disassembly?
"Could it be because the Disassembler has grown larger? So the Disassemble yield has
increased too??"
With no other evidence, this seemed to be the only explanation.
"That makes sense... With the Disassembler's level up, it's normal for the items
obtained from Disassembly to increase," Arthur reasoned.
However, Arthur scratched his head: "So if I Disassembled those purple items from
before now, wouldn't I make a fortune?"
This left Arthur in a quandary. Disassembling regular items could quickly level up the
Disassembler, but the upgrade time was just too long, causing impatience and potential
issues at crucial moments.
Yet, this example showed him that Disassembling high-level items at a low level of the
Disassembler had low cost-effectiveness...
What pained Arthur the most was the diamond-shaped pendant. If he had
Disassembled it now, given the Disassembler's current level, the number of colorless
small crystals might have seen a breakthrough.
"Damn it…"
Arthur felt helpless, with no way to undo what had already been done.
He hadn't foreseen such a situation with the earlier Disassemblers. Even before
reaching Tier 3, the Disassemble results hadn't shown noticeable improvement, so he
hadn't expected this.
Regret at this point was futile.
Likewise, even if he knew this now, could he have waited until now to Disassemble?
Ultimately, growth in strength was the primary concern, and sometimes Arthur simply
had no choice!
With that thought, Arthur pushed aside the negative feelings from earlier.
He didn't choose to extract immediately but began to sift through the pile of junk he
had collected during his adventures with Star-Lord, trying to find something worth
Disassembling.
However, Arthur's poor eye for valuable items led him to find very few useful ones in
the haul.
Most items were of no Disassemble value, and the majority of the rest were white or
blue, which had low Disassemble value.
Fortunately, his effort was rewarded as he finally found two green items.
None of them were purple, though...
Honestly, from Yondu's warehouse to that huge trading planet, it felt like there were
countless purple items scattered across the universe.
Any nook and cranny could potentially hide one.
But reality told Arthur... that Purple Quality items were far rarer than he had imagined.
After some thought, Arthur Disassembled the two green items.
They were a pair of bracelet-like objects with unknown origins. Even the Disassembler
couldn't provide a precise answer, only labeling them as "energy items," similar to the
diamond-shaped pendant.
The Disassemble process was quick, and the results were only two things:
Colorless small crystals and Disassembler experience.
Colorless Small Crystals *386
Disassembler Experience +4
Arthur's mouth twitched. His first thought wasn't about the large haul.
Instead, he couldn't help but think of that diamond-shaped pendant. If he had
Disassembled it now, he might have exceeded the 500 mark for colorless small
crystals!
