Becoming Hela's husband? Are you kidding me?
That woman could crush Thor's hammer with one hand— just thinking about it is
terrifying!
Besides, is Odin the type to randomly approve a son-in-law? Since Arthur first met the
old man, everything had become strangely bizarre. Arthur wasn't buying the idea that
Odin had suddenly decided his daughter had found her destined love.
There's definitely something more going on here!
"You dare reject me, mortal?" Odin's gaze sharpened, and an overwhelming pressure
descended upon Arthur like a mountain crashing down.
Arthur's expression shifted. He activated his steel-like body, and his colorless energy
began circulating madly within him.
But then, Odin pointed at him from a distance, and in that instant, Arthur's steel-like
defense shattered.
The pressure engulfed Arthur completely and it felt as if he was swimming in molten
lava, dancing in the depths of hell. Everything around him felt like it was cutting and
slashing at him, utterly terrifying!
Arthur could hardly believe it— Odin was doing this with pure force of will alone?
With no other choice, Arthur pushed his colorless energy to its limits to resist the
pressure. The speed at which it circulated increased exponentially. In this state, Arthur
couldn't afford to split his focus. His usual multi-tasking ability would be suicide under
such pressure.
This left him with no time to summon his spaceship and the "Idiot Abomination."
"Faster! Faster! Faster!!"
Arthur grits his teeth, his eyes bloodshot as the speed of his energy circulation
increases even further. He began to feel a strange heat building up inside him.
It was like an illusion—the sensation that his colorless energy was burning up as it
circulated at such high speed!
"No... it's not an illusion!"
Arthur realized that his colorless energy was indeed burning, and his body was radating an unusual amount of heat.As the sensation reached its peak, a blinding white light flashed from his body.
In that instant, the immense pressure above him, like the weight of a hellish inferno,
vanished. The force dissipated around him, sending ripples of power spreading in all
directions.
The throne room fell silent.
Odin's expression remained unchanged as he calmly watched Arthur standing before
him.
Arthur, on the other hand, felt utterly drained. Only faint embers of energy remained
within his body, like the dying glow of ashes.
His legs wobbled, and he nearly collapsed on the spot.
Footsteps echoed around them as the guards at the door rushed in.
Odin waved them away and approached Arthur. He extended a finger and light
tapped Arthur on the forehead. Arthur's eyes rolled back, and he immediately lost
consciousness.

When Arthur awoke again, he felt dazed.
Especially when he opened his eyes and saw an old man sitting beside him— it left him
even more confused.
He slapped his face a few times, thinking that he might be seeing things. After blinking
several times, the old man was still sitting by his bedside.
Noticing Arthur was awake, the old man thought for a moment and said, "Sleep is the
best way to restore both mind and body."
"Hmm, so you knocked me out just so I could sleep?" Arthur sat up, scanning the room.
The room was large and, like everything in Asgard, extravagantly adorned in gold. It
seemed the grandeur of Asgard could only be expressed through such opulence.
Arthur pondered for a moment and was about to say something when he suddenly
noticed something odd about his body.
The colorless energy inside him was no longer just a glowing force; it had transformed
into countless tiny stars, spreading throughout his body and occupying every corner of
it.
"This…"
Arthur was stunned. As he circulated the colorless energy, he found that the once
unruly force now flowed smoothly, completely under his control.
"The secret hidden within your body has reached a critical point."
Odin's voice echoed in Arthur's ears: "This power surpasses your imagination, and the
most terrifying part is that it keeps growing. This is far from its limit..."
"So, you did it on purpose?" Arthur glanced at the old man. The overwhelming pressure
from before was gone, and Odin now seemed like an ordinary elder. His hair and beard
were all white, his face full of wrinkles, and his one remaining eye radiated a gentle,
kind light.
Odin didn't answer Arthur's question. Instead, he stood up and said, "Let me take you to
see Asgard."
"Uh..."
Arthur wanted to say he just wanted to return to Earth, but when he saw the old man
extending his hand, he thought for a moment and decided to grab it.
In the next instant, the two were standing in the void.
As the Allfather, Odin possessed unfathomable, overwhelming power, far beyond what
the movies portrayed. He flew through the skies with Arthur, showing him all of
Asgard, and eventually stopping at the rooftop of a tall building.
There was no one around, but there was a table set with food and drinks. The two of
them sat at opposite ends, and Odin gestured for Arthur to help himself. Arthur didn't
hesitate and started eating the food on the table.
"This tastes pretty good," Arthur complimented.
"I'm glad you like it," Odin replied. "I've been watching you for a long time."
Arthur paused for a moment, then spoke while continuing to eat, "So, you've been
spying on me?"
"Not just me," Odin admitted calmly.
Arthur was stunned. "You were spying on me as a team?"
Odin thought for a moment and replied, "Two people. You could call it a team."
"... Who's the other person?" Arthur wasn't too concerned whether they were teaming
up or forming a group. He just wanted to know who the other creepy person watching
him sleep was.
"The other one lives in Kamar-Taj," Odin said.
"The Sorcerer Supreme?" Arthur slapped his forehead, feeling half amused, half
exasperated. "So, you've known about me all this time?"
"No, your place of slumber doesn't exist in this world. It was only thirty years ago that
an old friend from Kamar-Taj accidentally discovered you. So... we've only been
observing you for thirty years," Odin explained. "And we couldn't pull you out of that
space. It's quite fascinating— resilient, strong. While you were unconscious, we could
only observe through certain means but never invade. My old friend is an expert in the
realms of space and time and couldn't enter either. Once you regained consciousness,
that space completely vanished. It might have existed only within your thoughts."
Arthur fell silent.
Those few sentences contained a lot of information. The Ancient One, the Sorcerer
Supreme, and Odin— these two old eccentrics had been watching him sleep for thirty
years.
And now that he was "awake," it was clear they kept checking in on him from time to
time...
The only thing Arthur could be thankful for at this moment was that, luckily, he didn't
have the habit of... well, indulging in certain private activities. Otherwise, the
embarrassment would've been unbearable!
