Pausing his meditation, Zen frowned as he examined the kind of spiritual roots that his new body had.
"Seriously? 4 elements?"
Zen smiled wryly when he found out that this body, actually, had spiritual root with 4 different elements.
In addition to the mutated spiritual root, spiritual root basically only had 4 type of elements.
The elements of fire, water, earth, and air.
And the spiritual root of Zen have those four elements.
Unfortunately, that is not a good sign. His spiritual root were actually the spiritual root of most humans who would most likely not be related to immortality.
Spiritual root with four different elements are often referred to as 'false spiritual root'.
Its growth is very slow and requires astronomical resources only to grow slightly.
Spiritual root are in the bodies of all human beings and other living beings. However, not all of them have the opportunity to pursue immortality.
Most humans and living beings have false spiritual root. Their sensitivity to spiritual energy is very small. Even if they cultivated, the effects were so negligible that they were practically useless.
Zen unexpectedly possessed this false spiritual root.
However, he was very confident that his cultivation speed was quite astonishing in these 2 months. Zen had now successfully mastered the [Flaming Punch Technique] and trained his body to be quite strong.
In two months, he had successfully completed the second stage of Martial Realm and would soon begin the 3 days 3 nights Spirit Body formation stage.
His cultivation speed even surpassed Zhongmei, who had ice-mutated spiritual root, and had a constitution that was also strangely very close to ice element.
Zen stood up. He walked towards the nearest bookshelf while pondering.
"Could it be that this body is the reason? Zombie Body... A dead body?"
Picking up a book, Zen once again read the characteristics of Zombie and Undead of this world.
After reading for a while, he still hadn't found anything that might affect his cultivation speed rate.
There is a reason why false spiritual root are called fake or even considered as having no spiritual root at all.
A person with false spiritual root was like a plastic bottle that had four holes in its lids.
For the sake of cultivating, a person who possessed false spiritual root had to open these four lids simultaneously.
However, they were clearly unable to fill all four holes simultaneously.
As a result, most of their cultivation results would be wasted through other holes without them even realizing it.
If they managed to cultivate higher, perhaps at least after completing the second stage of the Spiritual Body Realm(Second Realm), then they might be able to alleviate the problem of these four holes a bit.
After completing the second stage of the Spiritual Body Realm, they had already formed a Heart Core.
Heart Core can form new energy flow paths within their bodies, then regulate them.
With that, they were 'probably' able to close another hole while they filled their 'bottle' using one of the holes.
However, this hypothesis has never been proven to be true. After all, no one with false spiritual root had ever passed through the barrier of the Martial Realm.
Leaning against the bookcase, Zen now began to worry about whether or not he was able to form a Spirit Body. In terms of spiritual root, he was clearly incapable.
'But...'
With a burning desire to continue cultivating within him, as well as the uncertainty factor of his Zombie body and this world, Zen convinced himself to try.

The 3 days and 3 nights Spirit Body formation stage was quite intense.
Because of this, Zen changed into thinner clothes and moved to the town square to practice.
He sat cross-legged in the town aquare for a few moments before starting forming his Spirit Body.
When he meditated there, the fire from the [Flaming Punch Technique] and the water from the [Water Flowing Crystal Technique] formed a yin and yang diagram with the support of the [Strom Azure Fluidance Serpent art] cultivation art.
[Storm Azure Fluidance Serpent art] was a cultivation art of Zen's own design. While on Earth, Zen switched to using this cultivation art when he was just about to enter the third Realm or Weapon Warlord Realm.
In the past, Zen's talent was quite good. He had spiritual root of the two elements - water and wind element.
With the [Strom Azure Fluidance Serpent art] cultivation art, his two elements underwent a spectacular transformation that made him able to fuse the two elements together and transform them into a water snake form capable of summoning storms.
Now, Zen changed the [Storm Azure Fluidance Serpent art] slightly.
He made it capable of supporting fire and water. Turning the two into two intertwined and conflicting snakes like yin and yang, but also needing each other and strengthening each other.
Seeing his false spiritual root, Zen had plans to revise the [Storm Azure Fluidance Serpent art] to [Four Divine Serpent King art] in order to unleash all of his potential, but that would have to wait for him to complete the formation of his Spirit Body first.
This minor revision of the [Storm Azure Fluidance Serpent art] was also made by Zen in order to avoid the clash between the water and fire elements of his Meditation Technique and Martial Technique.
After a while, the two snakes could now calmly swim between Zen's Meridians with his Dantian as the center.
After stabilizing his body condition, Zen stood up, then finally, began the intense 3 days 3 nights Spirit Body formation stage.
At this stage, Zen was required to continuously practice the [Water Flowing Crystal Technique] and [Flaming Punch Technique] to drain all of his Blood energy and Mind power for 3 days and 3 nights.
A Martial Realm cultivator did this in order to reach and surpass the limits of their body and mind, achieve a state of body-mind synchronization, and then form a Spirit Body that would help them to truly see and touch the so-called spiritual energy.
Keeping his concentration, Zen moved with flames enveloping his fists and legs.
The sound of a smoldering explosion of flames that rubbed and burned air accompanied Zen's movements.
The Zombies passing by often glanced at him, but Zen didn't stop his movements.
A strong wind blew, but Zen continued to burn the air with his flames.
Night came, but the fire in his body was enough to illuminate the darkness of the night.
It was raining, but he evaporated every drop of water that stuck to his body with his fire.
Encouraged just to continue cultivating, Zen never lost his focus even for a moment.
Instead of being exhausted, he instead felt happiness in cultivating.
Until finally, after exactly 72 hours had passed, Zen stopped moving.
The mind power and blood energy in his body fused and manifested themselves into a faint silver light enveloping Zen's body.
This is the Spirit Body!
Within a radius of 35 meters from him, from all points of view, even in his blind spot, Zen was now able to see and feel it!
Moreover, Zen was even finally able to sense the existence of spiritual energy – that was what Zen was thinking before his face stiffened.
"Huh?"
His Spirit Body form broke after Zen was disturbed.
Zen fell to his knees.
His face was paler than most Zombies.
"No way... No..."
Zen recalled what he saw with his Spirit Body.
He saw... Nothing. He saw nothing but the town and Zombies.
There is no spiritual energy!
"Haha... Hahahahahaha!!"
Dark clouds covered the sky.
A gust of cold wind blew the disheveled black hair of the desperate young Zombie.
He laughed, but it was not laughter that brought joy.

When night come and the rain fell once again, the drenched Zen finally returned to the library.
He stood still with a blank face for a while before walking over to the desk he often used to read books.
He searched the desk drawer before taking out a white candlestick and placing it on the table.
Zen used the flames of the [Flaming Punch Technique] to light it up.
Feeling the heat on the skin of his face, Zen sat down on the chair. He sat down and dropped all his weight on the chair.
His face and gaze were blank.
It is unknown what he was thinking.
He might be desperate, but it was also possible that he didn't think anything at all.
"Grrr..."
Footsteps slowly approached along with a low growling sound.
On the side of his eyes, Zen saw the figure of the Zombie Librarian walking closer.
The Zombie picked up the books lying on the table and floor due to Zen's actions before putting them back on the shelf.
Zen watched the Zombie's movements in silence.
After rearranging all the books, the Zombie stared at Zen.
It approached, then extinguished the candle that litted by Zen. It seems that according to the library's working hours, this is already in closing time.
Zen and the Zombie stared at each other in silence.
Zen's eyes twitched.
Quickly, Zen's right hand was enveloped in fierce red flames.
He grabbed the Zombie Librarian's face, then slammed It against the table very hard.
The table was shattered and burned by Zen's flames.
"GRAAAAHHHGHHGH!!"
With flames enveloping his entire body, Zen was like a raging demon.
He destroyed the Zombies and the floor all night until only a small charred crater remained.
When the warm morning light shone on the dark library room from behind the window, a figure of Zen standing staring at the ceiling with clenched hands could be seen.
