Because Leon had already gotten married with Annelie not long ago. Their marriage was not very grand, but it was befitting their status as nobility.
Adela didn't attend it, though.
She was not close with Annelie and if she came there to see Leon… it would feel rather awkward.
Rather than putting herself through all that, Adela felt that it would be better for her not to see them in the first place would be a much better option.
Anyway, Adela didn't plan to see Leon.
When she tried to advance his storyline back in the Capital Academy, Leon didn't react in accordance to the game and instead looked very different. Adela didn't know what was wrong, but she didn't want to see the strange scenes anymore.
In the game, Leon was the only one that had a fiancée aside from Crown Prince Edward.
So advancing their storyline usually required the cooperation of their partner and this was not easy at all.
