Chapter 73 - Chapter 73: Passing the Interview

After a brief silence, Sienna Tang exclaimed, "What? You actually finished it?"

Assistant Juan cautiously said, "Leon must have just scribbled something down. He didn't even think much before writing. It only took him around thirty minutes." She gave Leon an apologetic look, thinking he was flustered by the difficult questions.

Little did she know, Leon was sweating because he had actually completed everything, and this mistake was huge.

"This is unbelievable." Sienna grabbed the test papers. She had spent over three hours without solving them herself.

After carefully examining the test papers, Sienna took a deep breath, a move that in psychology is often called "the calm before the storm." "Leon, come in," she beckoned him with a finger.

Leon awkwardly followed her into the office.

Assistant Juan was left puzzled, not understanding what had happened.

Once the door was closed, Sienna's "White Bone Claws" grabbed Leon by the collar, pulling him close. The impressive curves of her bosom were so near that Leon could see the undulating contours, a deep, mesmerizing cleavage in front of him.

Sienna didn't care about her revealing position; she looked more like a demonic temptress, her smile both seductive and eerie.

"Did you do this all by yourself?"

"It seems like I did."

"And it only took you thirty minutes?"

"Maybe time stopped, and I actually took three months..."

"You got everything correct, did you know that?"

"Really?" Leon feigned surprise. "I happened to study the exact material last night. What a coincidence." He chuckled dryly, thinking, "It would be impossible if I didn't get everything right."

Ability No.104: Photographic Memory!

"Stop with the excuses; that's as lame as saying 'we've met before' to flirt. How boring and shameless." Sienna snorted, letting go of Leon. She sat on the desk, removed her high heels, and placed her black-stockinged legs on Leon's lap, slowly moving them up towards his groin.

Leon swallowed hard. Any normal man would react naturally, especially with the seductive Sienna aiming to captivate normal men.

"So, how did you do it? Tell me, and I'll give you a special reward," Sienna moaned in a way that could outshine any actress.

Leon shivered, feeling his little Leon becoming excited.

"If I told you, you wouldn't believe it. I've always been fascinated by the concept of the Trinity Theory of the Heavenly Realm, so I've been studying it." Leon answered innocently. An innocent man's naivety can be very deceptive, and Sienna fell for it.

"Really?" Sienna looked doubtful but remembered how Leon seemed to find a kindred spirit during the lecture.

"But these questions require advanced knowledge and understanding. How could you do it?" Sienna waved the test papers. "Some of these topics I haven't even seen before..." She had no idea that Leon's photographic memory had stored all the necessary information, making it easy for him to answer.

"What level are you in ancient languages? Expert? Ph.D.? Master or Grandmaster?" Sienna asked.

Leon had no clue. He only knew he hadn't passed level three in a foreign language. "There are levels? I didn't know that. I just thought it was interesting, but I guess I know quite a bit." With nothing left to lose, Leon just boasted.

Sienna pondered, stopping her pretty toes on Leon's inner thigh. She chuckled, "Let's test you. Where were the Dead Sea Scrolls found? How many scrolls? What materials were they written on, and what languages do they include?"

Leon thought briefly about the Dead Sea Scrolls, and a wealth of information surfaced in his mind. "They were found in twelve caves around Qumran near the Dead Sea, about five hundred scrolls, mostly written on leather, papyrus, and metal sheets. The primary languages are Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Old Arabic..."

"The content is vast. Cave one has the 'Book of Isaiah,' 'Community Rule,' 'Thanksgiving Hymns,' 'Commentary on Habakkuk,' and others. Cave two has fragments and unfinished texts. Cave three contains copper scrolls, which haven't been opened yet... Cave eleven holds the 'Temple Scroll'..." Leon went on and on until Sienna had to stop him.

"Stop!" She was getting a headache. If he continued, it would never end. "How can you recite this like a textbook..."

Leon laughed heartily.

"How many copies of the Bible were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls? What languages were they written in, and what is their significance?"

"About a hundred manuscripts, except for the Book of Esther, all in Hebrew. Their significance? They predate the Masoretic Text by a thousand years, providing invaluable information."

Sienna picked up a test paper. One section was about the Book of Isaiah. She asked, "You mentioned there are seventeen letter discrepancies in Isaiah chapter 53's one hundred and sixty-six words, ten due to spelling variations, four due to changes in conjunctions, not affecting the meaning, and three letters forming the word 'light'... How did you figure that out? It's as if you're a biblical scholar."

"That's just understanding word evolution and specific phrases. It's not that hard," Leon said.

Not that hard? It requires profound knowledge of ancient languages to spot those errors. How could he say it so casually?

Sienna reviewed the other test papers. Every answer was as precise as a textbook, flawless to the point of being almost perfect.

Sienna scrutinized Leon from head to toe, her delicate fingers lifting his chin. The faint fragrance she exuded enveloped him as she whispered seductively, "Who knew H University hid such an expert like you. What reward should I give you?"

"Um, could I be your assistant?" Leon raised his hand.

"Wouldn't that be beneath your talents?" Sienna stuck out her tongue.

"If it's not for your theory, I wouldn't be interested." Leon decided to use some flattery, knowing that if Sienna reported his abilities, his life would be chaotic.

Clearly, Sienna was pleased. She sat on Leon's lap, no longer acting like a teacher. "I've heard countless sweet words, but when honest people say them, it's the most moving. From today on, you belong to me..."

"Should I lock the door? Hmm?" Leon responded provocatively.

Sienna smiled.

"Professor Tang, more people are here to apply for the assistant position. They claim to be experts, professors..." Assistant Juan opened the door and saw Sienna sitting on Leon's lap, arms around him in a highly suggestive manner. She was shocked; it was her first time seeing Sienna act like this.

"Tell those so-called experts and professors to leave. I've already found my assistant," Sienna replied, still holding Leon.

Hired???

Assistant Juan nodded, glancing at them to ensure nothing inappropriate was exposed. Thankfully, nothing was.

Sienna stood up, fixing her appearance, and saw the slight tent in Leon's pants. She smiled mischievously. "This is your reward. Being my assistant is an exception; I don't like anyone being distracted at work. Understand?"

"Yes," Leon replied seriously, thinking he should avoid Sienna in the future to prevent trouble.

Sienna didn't know Leon's thoughts. She then explained the assistant's tasks, salary, and responsibilities. Overall, it was an easy yet challenging job. As for Leon's astonishing knowledge, Sienna didn't probe further. She was satisfied having such a knowledgeable assistant all to herself.
