"Ah?" Leon Chen's first reaction was Lina being at a loss for words.
"No way!" Lina flatly refused, "After-sales service is for abilities, not for meeting with customer service personnel!"
"According to the 'Heavenly Realm-Human World Harmony Agreement,' Chapter 1, Section 3, Article 7..."
Lina rattled off a long list of reasons, in essence, all leading to a big "no."
"Please choose another request, one related to abilities! Like how to acquire a top-tier ability, or how to use linked abilities?"
Leon had anticipated this refusal but pressed on, "Alright then, is there an ability that allows reaching the Heavenly Realm? I want to know."
Lina seemed taken aback, "Oh my, dear, please don't insist on coming to the Heavenly Realm. What's the point?"
Leon couldn't help but laugh. Lina's flustered reaction was too adorable, making him genuinely want to meet her in person. It felt like an online romance—nervous yet full of fantasies. "Of course, it's meaningful. If someone told you there's a more mysterious world beyond ours, wouldn't you be intrigued? Like if there's a realm beyond the Heavenly Realm?"
"There's no realm beyond the Heavenly Realm!" Lina firmly denied this, though she did admit to being a bit intrigued by the concept of a mysterious world.
"Okay, knowing that such a world exists and having a goddess-like guide, wouldn't you want to see it for yourself?"
Lina pondered for a moment, "You have a point."
"So, dear Lina, isn't this a reasonable request? Is there an ability to reach the Heavenly Realm?" Leon asked with a grin.
"There might be... I think..." Lina suddenly realized, biting her lip, "Dear Leon, you almost tricked me. According to the latest 'Human World Infinite Observation Report,' customer service cannot disclose any information about the Heavenly Realm to human beings!!"
"Infinite Observation? Do you see us as ants?" Leon asked, irritated.
Lina laughed, "Of course not." Hearing Leon's disappointment, she added, "Actually, Leon, you don't need to be disheartened. The princess said that when the time comes, you will naturally know about the Heavenly Realm. We aren't that different from you; otherwise, how could I communicate with you?"
Lina made a good point, but Leon was more curious about this princess she mentioned, "Do I know the princess of the Heavenly Realm?"
"Umm..." Lina realized she misspoke and quickly added, "How could you know the princess? That's impossible. Anyway, just take it as it is, and don't worry about it."
"Alright." Leon had intended to discuss Sienna Tang's discoveries with her, but it seemed pointless now.
"Okay, back to business. Leon, please state your second after-sales service request!" Lina's professional tone left Leon speechless—such a dedicated customer service representative!
"Do I have to?"
"Yes, you have to!"
Leon scratched his head, "Didn't you mention the 'Space-Time Movement' ability before? Give me the coordinates." Remembering Lina's recommendation, it sounded impressive and cool. Leon suddenly wondered if this could be the ability Lina hinted at for reaching the Heavenly Realm.
Excited by the thought, Leon eagerly awaited her response.
"Alright. Recording service request. I need to search the data, please hold on."
The wait felt long and tense. Leon was both excited and nervous. Since receiving the good-person card from the Heavenly Realm, this was the first time he felt such a thrilling challenge.
Lina's gentle voice returned, bringing comfort, "The NO8 top-tier ability: Space-Time Movement, also known as Psychic Transmission, allows one to traverse spatial barriers and reach any desired location... The successful search location is..."
Leon quickly noted the location but was speechless when he finished.
"Location: 20,000 leagues under the sea in the Western Atlantic, between 20°N-40°N latitude and 35°W-75°W longitude!" Lina laughed heartily after delivering this news.
The top-tier ability was at the bottom of the ocean...
"Damn, it's unreachable." Leon groaned. Did he need Captain Nemo's submarine, the Nautilus, to retrieve it?
Lina, now teasing, said, "Dear Leon, you'll figure it out. There's nothing you can't do in this world."
Despite not getting a satisfying answer, Leon gleaned some information from Lina's hints.
Remembering Lina had mentioned that the human world and the Heavenly Realm had a connection error, he thought logically: if things from the Heavenly Realm could reach the human world, the reverse should be possible. But how? Leon recalled Sienna Tang's Trinity Theory.
Leon's curiosity was piqued as never before. Though not typically a curious person, the existence of the watch world capable of producing 108 abilities made him wonder what the Heavenly Realm truly was.
As for the princess and Space-Time Movement, Leon decided to put those thoughts aside for now.
Determined, Leon headed to the school library to search for all information on Sienna Tang's Trinity Theory of the Heavenly Realm.
To his surprise, the theory hadn't gained scientific recognition and was still in its early stages. But what puzzled Leon was finding that over ten countries, including non-public organizations in the U.S. and the EU, were secretly researching this unrecognized theory.
Leon read through some of Sienna's published papers and her research materials, finding that she was also recruiting assistants.
Curious, Leon checked the requirements for Sienna's assistant positions.
He was stunned.
According to Sienna's criteria, to engage in "Mystery Space Engineering" one needed a vast knowledge base, from physics and spatial structure to time flow and world coordinates, to archaeology, pinpoint measurement, wilderness survival, bioengineering, geological survey, and civil engineering—it was a comprehensive list.
One requirement, mastering ancient civilizations' languages, left Leon bewildered.
From basic cuneiform to Chinese oracle bone script, inscriptions to ancient Mediterranean Hebrew, Phoenician alphabets, and languages Leon had never heard of, like Rosetta Stone script, Mayan geometry, Holy Covenant script, and inverted pyramid writing...
Of course, Sienna wouldn't expect her assistants to meet all these high standards but at least to have a basic understanding.
Leon, who hadn't even passed level three in a foreign language, was overwhelmed.
Wow, this job is going to be tough!
