Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: Hopeless Emotional Intelligence

The name "Sienna Tang" split into "Autumn Heart."

When it comes to Sienna Tang, a female teacher at H University, she's renowned throughout all of Xijing. With a model's figure standing at 1.75 meters, perfect measurements of 88-56-86, and a captivating beauty that can make any man lose his senses.

But if it was just her looks that made her the most desired teacher in Red Nation, that would be too shallow. In fact, people are even more superficial than that.

Sienna Tang is famous for her enchanting lectures. Her every smile and movement captivates her audience, her words carrying an irresistible charm. Attending her class is both an immense pleasure and an utmost torment. It is said that a group of top students were so overwhelmed by her alluring lectures that their pants were wet by the end of the class, turning them into legends.

Hence, she is known as the "Seductive Beauty" (妖艳之秋心).

Michael Fang said that if he could have a private lesson with Professor Tang, his academic life would be complete.

Leon gave Michael a disdainful look but decided to join him and the others to attend Sienna Tang's lecture in the afternoon.

Hall No. 1 can accommodate more than 500 people and is a large lecture hall with top-notch facilities. It was meticulously designed so that even the faintest voice from the speaker can be heard clearly by everyone.

Leon and his friends arrived two hours early, but Professor Tang's allure was too strong. The entire hall was already packed. When they asked a student sitting near the edge if he had eaten, the student replied, "Eaten? Are you out of your mind? This is Professor Tang's class; I'm waiting for her to eat me."

Everyone was embarrassed.

Michael complained that they shouldn't have gone for lunch, as now there were no seats left.

Leon was also surprised by the sheer number of people and noticed that many students from other universities had come. It turned out that although Professor Tang was officially part of the Archaeology Department, she often spent most of her time on archaeological surveys and research outside the university, rarely returning to campus. It was no wonder there were so many people.

With no other choice, they fought their way to a decent spot in the aisle, which was considered lucky compared to many students who couldn't get in.

"This hall is like a microcosm of H University," Michael murmured.

The others looked at him curiously, and Michael pointed with his mouth.

Following his gaze, they understood why he felt that way.

Although there were many people, some seats had three or four students squeezed together, but the first few rows were different. The young men and women sitting there were all well-dressed and radiant. They chatted lightly about topics like funds, jewelry, banquets, luxury cars, antiques, and yachts, looking down on the noisy students around them.

These rich kids exuded an aura that made others feel inferior. Few students dared to provoke them, creating a clear divide in the classroom.

Among them, Leon spotted a familiar face—William Jiang.

William, attending the legendary "Seductive Beauty" lecture for the first time, had managed to secure a good seat with the help of his second brother, Jason He. Although it was in the third row, at the back of their circle, it was still a status symbol compared to other students.

Seeing the envious and jealous looks from the surrounding students, William felt extremely proud. This was how he imagined H University should be, unlike the recent humiliations he had faced.

Feeling triumphant, William noticed Leon standing in the aisle, looking shabby. This gave him great satisfaction, knowing that Leon was still inferior to him.

"Hey, isn't that the famous Leon Chen? Why not find a seat?" William called out loudly enough for everyone to hear.

Immediately, all eyes turned to Leon.

Leon Chen's name had been frequently mentioned in the campus newspaper recently, almost becoming the protagonist of a serialized story. Seeing Leon standing humbly in the aisle, people started whispering.

"Isn't he the one who stole the freshman beauty?"

"I heard the student council president admires him."

"Oh, I thought he was some rich kid."

"He's so ordinary."

These comments were exactly what William wanted. Look at that, the newspaper's hero is now a pitiful bystander. Even if a commoner becomes famous, he's still a clown. At crucial moments, their social status shows.

Next to William were several rich kids from the same circle. They glanced at Leon with curiosity, some with disdain, but they wouldn't stoop to insult him.

To them, a commoner wasn't worth their breath.

But William, new to H University, didn't understand the social rules here. So, he and a boy next to him started mocking Leon, with a few others chiming in.

"Senior, can't find a seat? That's too bad. Why not take mine...if you're willing to clean my shoes first."

This blatant provocation angered Leon's dorm mates.

"Shut up, you idiot," Michael cursed.

John Wu patted his shoulder from behind, stopping him from acting out.

"Bro, this idiot is too arrogant."

"Leon, do you know him?" John asked with a slight smile.

Daniel Zhang sneered, "Isn't he the guy who lost the bet and ran away?"

Michael, understanding the act, calmed his anger and said with a grin, "So, he's the one who chickened out."

"Don't say that. He didn't break his promise," Leon said with a smile.

"He ate the card?"

"Eating a card is no challenge. This guy, William Jiang, ate shit instead," Leon nodded. "Or else, why do you think he has bad breath?"

The hall erupted in laughter, including the rich kids.

Leon's dorm mates admired him even more.

Who would've thought Leon could be so savage?

The students, bored and looking for drama, were excited by William's words, expecting a fight. But Leon and his friends' quick banter deflated William.

The bet was known, but they didn't know the parties involved. Now, seeing William's furious but silent reaction, they laughed harder.

William's face turned ashen, and even the rich kids couldn't help but show disdain. Sitting with someone like him was disgusting—a coward who ran from a bet.

William angrily pounded the table, provoking even more laughter. A girl in the front row teased, "Throwing a tantrum, huh? If you can't handle it, don't play."

"A bunch of idiots, just watch from the sidelines," William cursed in anger.

Now, even his peers were upset with him.

Leon shook his head. How many stupid pills did he take to have such low emotional intelligence?
