"Long time no see." Both of them were stunned in the same place, and it was the boy who spoke first.
Coey came back to his senses and stood up to respond. "Long time no see." Lydia picked up the fallen soft cream and threw it into the nearby trash can before looking at Coey and the boy in confusion.
"Coey, do you know him?" Coey nodded and introduced to Lydia, "This is my childhood friend Oliver Thomas, and also my former neighbor."
After Coey finished speaking, he introduced to Oliver, "Oliver, this is my good friend Lydia." Oliver nodded to Lydia as a greeting.
Lydia looked at Oliver's appearance. He had amber pupils, brown curly hair and gold-rimmed glasses. The first moment Lydia saw him, she thought Oliver was a very gentle and kind person, and the whole person looked a bit like a gentleman.
He was completely different from Kalle. Lydia suddenly felt a sense of crisis for Kalle.
"Why are you here?" Coey still couldn't believe that she would meet an old friend from the place where she used to live here.
Oliver pointed to a group of people not far away and said. "My classmates and I came here to travel. I didn't expect to meet you here. How have you been recently?"
I don't know if it was Lydia's illusion, she always felt that Oliver looked at Coey in a different way, as if the man was looking at his admirer.
"I'm doing well, and I've made a lot of friends here. But why are you different from before?" Coey carefully observed Oliver's face and found that he was much more haggard than before.
Oliver touched his nose awkwardly, "Is that so? It may be caused by staying up late to study recently."
Just when he was angry and embarrassed, Oliver mustered up the courage to ask about the secret that had been hidden in his heart.
"Hmm, haven't you read the text message I sent you?" Coey tried to recall the past. "Awww, I remember. Uncle was worried that I missed my parents too much, so he changed a new phone card for me. I'm really sorry that I didn't tell you that I changed my phone number. I also had the idea of looking for you, but I really can't remember your phone number."
Oliver breathed a sigh of relief and said half-jokingly. "I thought you would never talk to me again, hahaha." Coey didn't notice Oliver's abnormality.
"Then can you give me your new phone number? And which high school are you attending now? I'm sorry, I didn't have time to ask you at the beginning, but now I'm asking you." Coey didn't doubt him. "Of course, I go to LH High School nearby."
Oliver nodded thoughtfully and exchanged phone numbers with Coey. He was interrupted when he was about to speak. "Oliver, have you bought it? Our lunch appointment is almost here."
Oliver said to Coey embarrassedly. "Then I'll leave first. Bye Coey." He just nodded politely to Lydia and left.
"Coey, do you like him?" Coey denied directly "No? Why do you ask that?"
Lydia couldn't tell why she asked this question herself, maybe she found that the way Oliver looked at Coey was not innocent.
"Sorry Coey, I'm abrupt." Coey waved his hand indifferently. "It's okay, let's go shopping."
Lydia suppressed her doubts and continued shopping with Coey.
