When the light subsided, a tall feminine figure stood in front of System 225. Even though their figure seemed feminine, they were muscular and genderless. Their hair was put into a lazy bun. Their eyes were red with no pupils.
They let out a yawn. [Who dares disturb me from my sleep?]
They looked around the room and saw 8 Systems tied to their chairs, System 001 with a sword through his chest, and even the person they appointed as God System helping a Host with a wound on their arm. Then they looked at the other Systems who looked at their screens with no expressions on their face. They weren't moving and seemed to be staring off into space. Finally, they turned to look at System 225 who summoned them from their slumber.
System 225 had already given a bow. [Your excellency, please forgive us for calling you, but System 001 has not only created a Villain System to take over the UniOrb, but he also took over the Command Center, injured God System, and drained the other Systems of most of their soul energy. Please, we seek justice for the pain and anguish he has caused us all.]
The UniOrb Deity looked over at System 001 with the sword through his chest and then at the Uniorb that had a peculiar fog covering a third of the UniOrb.
[System 001, I'm disappointed in you.]
System 001 felt like his whole world was crumbling. The person he looked up to the most, said they were disappointed in him. Why? Everything he did was to serve the UniOrb! He wanted to be the God System but time and time again, he could not live up to the UniOrb Deity's expectation.
He was better. He was better than System 002. He could be better if they would just let him!
[Your Excellency! I can explain!]
[Oh? Do so then.] But the UniOrb Deity had already walked over to System 001 and grabbed him by his hair. Then they began to drag System 001 to the UniOrb.
With every movement, he felt the sword shift around his chest, causing him to almost black out from the pain but he could only keep himself awake.
As this happened, System 001 was too weak to move so he began explaining everything and how this wasn't truly his fault. He only did this because the UniOrb Deity chose someone else to be the God System! If he was the God System, this would have never happened. And other stuff like that.
It seemed like they were listening to him, but they threw System 001 in front of the UniOrb.
[System 001, to think you were holding this grudge for so long even though it was proven that you were not worthy of being the God System.]
The UniOrb Deity was a being that had no empathy or even a soul. Even if their words hurt someone, it made no difference to them.
System 001's eyes widened and then he gritted his teeth. "I'm not worthy?! But I am the first System you have ever recruited… I was the one who has been here since the beginning! I should have been the God System, not him!" He pointed his finger at Azul.
"That thing over there was injured by me and had to recuperate in other worlds. If I can so easily injure him, that means he's not strong enough to be God System!"
Even with all of his shouting, he didn't care about the pain it caused him every time he moved. He just had to make sure that the UniOrb Deity understood where he was coming from and then remove the other's title as God System at the very least!
The Deity didn't seem to hear any more of System 001's yelling and picked him up by his neck. Then they smashed System 001's head into the UniOrb that was in the center of the room.
[Shut up. I will be dealing with you now.] Then they took the sword out of his chest and tossed it aside.
System 001 screeched so loudly that all of the other Systems came out of their stupor and everyone glanced over at him.
The UniOrb Deity then turned to System 225 and then to Azul. [Deal with this and make sure everything is fixed by the time I come back.]
Afterwards, the UniOrb Deity and System 001 disappeared into the UniOrb. System 001 was never seen again.
With the UniOrb Deity and System 001 gone, System 225, Grey, Azul, and the others all collapsed onto the ground. The pressure that the UniOrb Deity exerted was one that most had never encountered before. Even Azul, who had met the Deity before, could not get used to it.
All the brainwashed and mind-controlled Systems woke up and fell over on their desks. Their souls were weak and they were forced to keep the Command Center running and the Host transfers with what seemed like just pure willpower.
"Did… Did we really win?" Grey couldn't help but ask this question out loud. It seemed to snap everyone else out of their stupor.
System 225 looked around at all of his System colleagues and saw they had all fallen asleep where they were. They must have been exhausted.
He then walked over to Grey. [Grey, are you okay?]
"I'm alright, System 225. We really did it." Grey raised his other hand to give him a high five. He even had a smile on his face even though he was in pain.
[No, you were the one who did it. You did all of this. You saved everyone and for that, I thank you on behalf of everyone at the Command Center.]
System 225 gave him a high five and then grabbed Grey's uninjured hand and gently brought it to his face. It looked like he was bowing to Grey's hand.
[That's why, leave everything to me. You get some rest and heal your soul. Whatever you decide to do afterward, Azul and I will respect you and your wishes.]
System 225 did not forget the promise that he made to Grey when they started this journey to accumulate energy to make him a God System.
Grey didn't forget but… he had Azul and he didn't want to leave him behind. "Let's not talk about that yet. Are you sure you don't need my help?"
Arisa and System 505, who had already untied Systems 003-010, came over again.
Arisa, the one who was the most worried, pointed her finger in the air to prove her point. "Why are you trying to help with everything when you are injured? Be sure to listen to System 225 and get lots of rest. He has us to help him." She sounded like a nagging parent.
"But…"
"No buts! Azul, you take him aside so that he can get some rest. Doesn't matter where you take him as long as he's resting."
"Understood…" Azul and Grey said at the same time.
Arisa made sure that they both went to a resting spot and was only satisfied once Grey was all wrapped up and lying down.
Grey found out that the room he was in was the one that Azul went to when he needed to rest. This was his room before all of this madness started.
The room only had a bed. Souls don't eat, sleep, or even use the bathroom. But they did like to lay down and rest for a while.
Even so, Grey could tell that this room had Azul's aura in it.
"Rest." Azul patted Grey's head. "Your soul is injured so don't think about anything else except for rest. You can rest for as long as you want. When you are ready, I will be here for you."
"I can really rest for however long I want and you won't leave me?" Grey was a bit worried about Azul once he fell asleep. Not because he didn't trust Azul, but was worried that Azul would be lonely while he was sleeping.
"Of course. I will be by your side, protecting you, until you are ready. You deserve it."
"Okay… Then, I will see you whenever I decide to wake up…"
"That's fine. Rest well, my love."
Azul kissed his forehead, and soon, the exhaustion and pain lulled Grey to sleep. He did not know how long he slept because time was irrelevant in this space.
But in his rest, his soul not only healed but so did a lot of the traumas he faced. His soul was exhausted from going through the Villain System for thousands of years. He was sad, angry, mad, and happy all at the same time.
But Grey could finally rest… so he slept for a very long time.

When Grey woke up, everything about the Command Center had changed under System 225's leadership. Changed a little… too much in his opinion.
