"They all have their respective families behind them, and over the years, they haven't stopped targeting the Uchiha.

What if the Uchiha used the same tactics on their families? What would happen then?

Even though the advisors and elders have great power, they can't run to the Police Department every day to demand releases.

Look at the Shimura clan—getting arrested, released, and arrested again.

It's enough to drive you crazy.

The thought of the Shimura clan constantly complaining and suffering made the two advisors secretly decide to stop the Uchiha.

This must not happen to their own families.

"The Shimura clan is being targeted because Danzo still can't settle down."

The Third Hokage was angry at this matter.

"I'm out there cleaning up your messes, working tirelessly, losing countless brain cells and a bunch of hair, and you're still causing trouble behind my back.

Danzo's deliberate acts against the Uchiha were usually nothing, but at this critical time, it was entirely counterproductive.

The reputation of Konoha was already bad enough, and he was still fanning the flames.

"Tell me, at this time, continuing to target the Uchiha—isn't that just causing trouble for me?"

"...."

The two advisors had nothing to say.

Because Danzo's actions were indeed causing trouble.

It was precisely because he was still causing trouble during this critical time that the Uchiha were relentlessly targeting the Shimura clan.

"Also, Jiraiya requested Uchiha Kazuki to follow on the mission for the good of the village."

Jiraiya wasn't a fool. When gathering information about Naruto, the Uchiha were naturally involved.

He knew that the relationship between the Uchiha and the village had reached a very dangerous edge.

And Kazuki happened to be the most prominent and representative person of the Uchiha recently, so Jiraiya wanted to take him along to not only find Tsunade but also to talk to Kazuki.

He hoped to improve the dangerous relationship between the village and the Uchiha.

"A futile effort."

Understanding Jiraiya's intention, the two didn't insist on having the Third Hokage cancel the mission.

They just verbally remained defiant, but they had to admit that the relationship between the Uchiha and the village was indeed tense and dangerous.

The Uchiha could cause trouble, but not when the village itself was in trouble.

"What about the Shimura clan?"

Utatane tentatively asked.

The Shimura clan leader had approached her, but she hadn't given a response.

Because he had first approached the Third Hokage, and unfortunately, it was to no avail—the Uchiha were still targeting them.

The Uchiha were determined to target them.

Even if she intervened, it might not be effective.

If a warning from the higher-ups could have made the Uchiha back off, it wouldn't have reached this point.

"I will remind Fugaku."

The Third Hokage frowned, clearly not wanting to deal with this matter anymore.

If the Uchiha made a bigger scene, the Third Hokage would certainly warn Uchiha Fugaku first, admonishing him to keep the Uchiha in check.

However, the Police Department was handling things well—they made the Shimura clan suffer but didn't cause major issues.

So, the Shimura clan could slowly endure it.

It's not that we don't want to help, but there's nothing we can do.

You have to fend for yourselves.

Better pray that the Uchiha calm down soon. Then, they won't keep targeting you.

Utatane could only think this way.

The next morning, arriving at the village gate on time, Kazuki found that he had miscalculated.

Itachi had already arrived, but Jiraiya was nowhere in sight.

He didn't know if Jiraiya had overslept or had too much fun last night and missed the time.

"Captain."

Itachi, dressed in black combat gear, approached and saw Kazuki looking around as if searching for someone. Itachi understood that there were others joining the mission besides them.

"Yeah."

Nodding, Kazuki walked to the side and leaned against a tree:

"Let's wait a bit; someone else hasn't arrived yet."

Itachi stood quietly by, waiting.

Looking at the silent Itachi, Kazuki couldn't help but shake his head.

It seemed that Itachi could only open up his communication button when facing Sasuke and Shisui.

"Ahaha... sorry, sorry, I'm late."

After waiting for more than half an hour, Jiraiya finally arrived.

Seeing his messy clothes and eye crusts, it was clear he had been to some enjoyable places last night and overslept due to exhaustion.

"On a mission with Lord Jiraiya?"

Itachi glanced at Kazuki.

Kazuki gestured to him and started walking towards the village gate.

"Hey!! Wait for me."

Seeing Kazuki and Itachi walking away without waiting for him, Jiraiya hurried to catch up, apologizing as he walked:

"I've been accompanying Naruto lately and haven't gone out, so I went out last night, and that's why I'm late."

Looks like Lord Jiraiya went to some unsavory places last night.

Itachi silently guessed.

Kazuki shrugged indifferently:

"No need for explanations. Having fun is better than peeping on others bathing. Can you disclose the mission details?"

Some missions require full confidentiality, known only to the mission leader, with even teammates unaware of the mission.

Kazuki needed to determine the mission type, so he asked Jiraiya.

"It's not exactly a confidential mission."

Scratching his messy hair, Jiraiya yawned:

"Our mission is to find Tsunade and persuade her to return to the village. The Daimyo's matter requires Tsunade's negotiation."

So, they want to leverage Tsunade's connections with the Daimyo?

The Third Hokage's plan was quite sound!

But then, such a mission to find Tsunade didn't need Uchiha's involvement, right?

Jiraiya alone could handle it.

Moreover, persuading Tsunade to return to the village was a high-difficulty task, requiring Jiraiya. Kazuki and Itachi could hardly help.

"The Daimyo's matter involves other ninja villages pressuring Konoha in unison with the Daimyo, putting a lot of pressure on the old man, so Tsunade's presence is needed to meet the Daimyo."

For things to escalate to this point, it's no wonder there's significant pressure.

Kazuki himself hadn't expected a mix of truth and falsehood in the information would cause such a stir.

His initial intention was merely to create some trouble for Danzo and the Third Hokage, diverting their attention from the Uchiha.

Who knew it would escalate so much?

One could only say Danzo had dug his own grave by not restraining himself, leaving a deep psychological shadow on the Daimyo. At the slightest provocation, the Daimyo couldn't sit still.

The major villages like Kumogakure and Iwagakure also took the opportunity to stir things up, leading to today's situation.

Despite the urgency, Jiraiya wasn't anxious at all.
