"Come in and close the door."

"Yes..."

After closing the door, Jiro lowered his head in frustration while the others turned away, hiding their laughter.

They knew well that Jiro was about to get scolded.

Sure enough, Kazuki scolded him in a sarcastic tone, "Go on, why aren't you talking back now? Weren't you quite bold just a moment ago?"

"Captain, I didn't mean it that way. I was just worried about you, really."

Jiro kept shaking his head and explaining.

"Enough," Kazuki interrupted him irritably, "Kaze's leave was approved by me. Don't take it out on others because of this. Also, the rest of you, behave yourselves. I'm seriously ill right now, understand?"

Is the news about his illness fake?

They looked at each other, then nodded in agreement, indicating they understood.

"If there's nothing else, you can leave. Have lunch before you go, and remember to behave well these few days. As long as nothing goes wrong, beat up anyone who provokes you, make it look convincing."

Spreading false news requires cooperation.

Otherwise, how can it be believable?

Since the clan leader demanded this act, Kazuki had to reluctantly play along.

As for how many people they could fool, that wasn't Kazuki's concern.

Moreover, he had already started arranging things to keep the Third Hokage and Danzo busy.

It wouldn't be long before they were overwhelmed, and by then, they wouldn't have the energy to focus on the Uchiha clan or continue targeting him.

The news of Kazuki having a bloodline disease spread rapidly.

Danzo and the Third Hokage, who were constantly monitoring the Uchiha, quickly received reports from the Anbu.

"Bloodline disease?"

After the Anbu ninja finished reporting, the Third Hokage frowned.

He remembered that Uchiha who got the bloodline disease mostly died young, unlike the Hyuga clan, where the disease often led to Byakugan degeneration.

"Is the information accurate?"

The Third Hokage couldn't be sure if the news was true or false.

After all, information could easily become a smokescreen.

Moreover, the Anbu couldn't just enter the Uchiha territory to confirm if Kazuki was really bedridden.

Monitoring from outside the Uchiha territory was the limit.

If they took another step forward, the Uchiha would definitely cause a fuss.

Even the aggressive Danzo wouldn't cause trouble directly in the Uchiha territory.

"According to the police department's announcement, Uchiha Kazuki's health indeed has issues, but the exact situation is unclear. Currently, Uchiha Kazuki is on leave at home. The members of the third squad, except for the newcomers and those on leave, visited him after their patrols and left very upset and angry."

After listening to the Anbu ninja, the Third Hokage thoughtfully nodded, "It seems Uchiha Kazuki indeed has health problems, but whether it's a bloodline disease still needs verification. Good work, you may go rest now."

"Yes."

The Anbu left.

The Third Hokage turned to the window, looking towards the Uchiha territory.

Kazuki had just stirred up quite a bit within the clan and severely offended Danzo. It was highly possible that the Uchiha, to protect him, claimed he was ill.

Of course, it could also be true.

Further investigation and verification by the Anbu were necessary. Not being able to personally enter the Uchiha territory for investigation was the biggest limitation for the Anbu.

Right now, it seemed more likely that the Uchiha were using a smokescreen.

Unnecessary.

The Third Hokage shook his head, thinking the Uchiha were being overly paranoid. Considering the village's situation, no one would really target the Uchiha.

As for why the Uchiha became overly paranoid, the Third Hokage wouldn't ponder such questions.

In short, everything was the Uchiha's fault.

Regardless of whether it was a smokescreen or how effective it would be, the smokescreen was already out, and Kazuki was forced to take a break.

Honestly, used to being busy, Kazuki felt uncomfortable suddenly having nothing to do.

Even worse, izumi was cleaning his house thoroughly every day, leaving Kazuki with nothing to do to keep himself occupied.

Cleaning was done.

Clothes were washed.

Cooking didn't require Kazuki's involvement.

If Kazuki hadn't stopped her, Izumi might even have taken his underwear to wash.

"Captain, there are rumors outside that you have a severe bloodline disease."

Bored, Izumi wandered around Kazuki's house, feeling it was a bit empty and thinking it could use some flowers or plants for a more comfortable look.

Seeing Izumi wandering, Kazuki knew she couldn't sit still.

So he asked, "Izumi, if you have any questions about training or using the Sharingan, you can ask me."

Kazuki's intention was clear: I'm bored to death, ask me something so I can explain it to you, and neither of us will be idle.

"Training?"

Izumi was slightly stunned, then smiled sweetly, "I'm doing okay with my training. I've been diligently following my mother's and the school teachers' methods. As for the Sharingan, I think I can figure it out slowly."

Kazuki's smile gradually froze.

Was he destined to be bored to death?

"Come over here."

Kazuki's face darkened, pointing to a chair nearby.

"Yes..."

Izumi couldn't understand why the captain was angry.

With a stern face, Kazuki looked intimidating. Izumi didn't dare to argue or ask, meekly responding and walking over to sit obediently, barely touching the chair with her bottom.

After she sat down, Kazuki scolded her sternly, "As a member of the Uchiha clan, how can you have such a mindset? Figure it out slowly? Without guidance, what do you think you can figure out?"

Izumi's talent was undeniable. She might not compare to prodigies like Itachi or Shisui, but achieving the rank of Jonin with three tomoe at thirteen was no small feat.

Currently, in the Uchiha clan, the only woman to achieve this was the clan leader's wife, Uchiha Mikoto, once the clan's genius.

"Activate your Sharingan and tell me what you don't understand."

Finally finding something to do, Kazuki felt invigorated, pretending to be serious while taking a sip of water, ready to start a thorough session.

As for the wronged Izumi... she was ignored by Kazuki.

Killing time while indirectly improving her skills, wasn't this a win-win?

"Yes..."

Faced with a serious Kazuki, Izumi dared not be careless and quickly activated her Sharingan.
