In contrast to other forms of energy that might have limitations, the energy known as "Qi" in this world operates differently. Whether you possess 1,000 units of Qi or 10 million, you can essentially expend all of it in a single attack if you choose.
However, unleashing all of one's Qi at once requires not only charging up but also having a strong mastery over it. The way Qi is used in an attack can also vary, resulting in different levels of damage.
Interestingly, more Qi doesn't necessarily mean a stronger attack. The effectiveness also depends on how Qi is transformed and utilized, as well as the enhancement from special techniques. Still, an attack powered by 1,000 units of Qi, no matter how it's amplified, can never rival the sheer force of an attack using tens of millions of units.
Beyond Qi, this world also contains other forms of energy, such as magical energy. This kind of energy is roughly on par with Qi in terms of levels but can be harnessed for unique effects.
There are also exceptionally high-tier energies, like Destructive Energy and Divine Energy. Destructive Energy is wielded by the gods of destruction, while Divine Energy is used by figures like the Saiyan God—not to be confused with ordinary deities like the Supreme Kai.
High-tier energies can effortlessly overpower lower-tier ones. Of course, besides the energies mentioned, there might be many others similar to Qi but distinct in their own right. Some might have appeared in anime, others perhaps not, but Vegeta wasn't overly concerned with them.
For now, Vegeta knew that increasing the amount of Qi he had was a primary focus, but elevating the quality of his energy would be the fastest way to enhance his power. However, these considerations were somewhat premature for him at this moment.
Instead, building a solid foundation seemed more meaningful.
With this in mind, Vegeta quickly picked up the Advanced Strength Card and the Advanced Physique Card, using them without hesitation.
After using the cards, Vegeta felt a familiar surge of energy flow through his body, beginning to enhance his physical abilities. The rate of this enhancement was a bit slower than when he had previously drawn the Armament Haki, but he was in no rush.
Since these cards took time to fully amplify his power, Vegeta waited patiently. Once the effects of the cards were fully realized, his strength would undoubtedly see a significant boost.
Next, Vegeta examined the other rewards from the treasure chest. Without further ado, he opened the Advanced Enhancement Potions and quickly downed them. Soon, two bottles of enhancement potion were coursing through his system.
Vegeta completely ignored the warning that excessive use could result in fatal consequences. The idea that his current physique couldn't handle the impact of two measly potions was laughable; if that were the case, most other adventurers wouldn't survive even one.
As the potions took effect, Vegeta immediately noticed changes. The potions converted into pure energy, wildly rampaging through his body, aggressively tempering and refining his physical form.

The violent energy wreaked havoc inside Vegeta, causing him to grunt and furrow his brow. The intensity of the energy was slightly beyond his expectations, but this was partly due to the comprehensive internal strengthening it was inducing.
While Vegeta's body wasn't weak, its internal structure hadn't reached an extreme level yet. Still, he only felt some pain, which wasn't enough to injure him, let alone cause his body to explode.
Taking a few deep breaths, Vegeta ignored the energy storm inside him and instead equipped the two diamond-grade items he had drawn. As he put on the gear, he felt a noticeable increase in his strength and, more importantly, a subtle transformation in his body.
These changes were easy to guess; they were clearly the special effects of the Energy Ring and Life Bracelet. The ring enhanced energy recovery speed by 35%, while the bracelet improved stamina and injury recovery—both extremely useful abilities.
This was especially true since Vegeta hadn't yet acquired any special regeneration talents or abilities. If, in the future, he could gain a regeneration talent similar to that of Majin Buu, Vegeta wouldn't need to worry about recovery at all.
"Use the Inventory Expansion Permit!"
After equipping the items, Vegeta casually used all the inventory expansion permits he had.
