Bella grinned sheepishly. "I'm sorry. I was just so happy you're better," she said, looking awkward when she saw my flushed face. She didn't realize it was because I swallowed the bun too fast.
After eating, I felt full and stronger. I took a deep breath, feeling relieved like I had just surfaced from underwater.
I thought about what to do next. It was best to keep my recovery a secret. 'Maybe it's better if no one knows I'm awake,' I thought.
I sensed that the person who harmed Tyler from the Prime Martial World might still be around. I didn't want to attract their attention while I was weak. They might try to hurt me again to stop me from becoming a threat.
