Chereads / Cry Or Beg, You're Mine / Chapter 59 - Chapter 58

Chapter 59 - Chapter 58

"And you think I will allow you leave here without the doctor's approval?" Melanie glared at him.

"Babe,'' Flynn sighed deeply.

"This is what only I can do. I want to catch her personally," Flynn replied.

"It is not what Devon can do?" Melanie asked.

"I...''

"You are just recovering, so you are going nowhere. You should let Devon go for her because I'm not letting you leave here," Melanie stated firmly then looked away.

"Babe," Flynn stared at her.

"I won't listen," Melanie glanced at him.

Flynn smiled softly as he stared at his wife. Even though it has only been a day to him, he felt his heart longing for her. He had been unconscious for over two weeks, but to him, it was just a day. He felt like the day before was the day he was wheeled to the operating room. More so, he realized how much he had missed his wife nagging at him. He had missed how she stops him from doing things he wanted to do that she wasn't interested in. He had missed everything about this little woman so much. So much. Flynn, however, vowed that he was going to make Hazel and Zach taste hell. He was going to accompany them to hell and back. He was going to make them beg for deâth for hurting his woman the way they did. He swore.

"Okay,'' Flynn turned to look at Devon.

''Go get her," he added and Devon bowed.

''Take Beverly safely to the mansion. I have business with Hazel and not her daughter.''

"Yes, sir!" Devon, including the other men, bowed, still on their knees.

"You may go. Inform me as soon as you get here," Flynn said then turned to return to the bed.

As Flynn sat on the bed, the men stood up, bowed deeply then hurried out of the ward.

"Don't you think you were harsh on Devon?" Melanie said as she pulled her chair towards Flynn.

"I don't think so. Do you think so?" Flynn caresses her hair.

"I don't think so, I know so," Melanie rolled her eyes.

"Same here," Elle interfered from where she sat with Tyler.

"Why?" Flynn glanced at her.

"That dude tried his best. He even took a gunshot that was targeted to your wife," Kyle hissed.

"Wait, Devon took a shot for me?" Melanie turned to look at Kyle.

"Yes. You were unconscious when we arrived there and Devon carried you in his arm. That old man, Zach released a shot at you and Devon was quick to swerve it, but it met his back. I guess it would have met your head or better still, shoulder if he hadn't dodged it," Kyle explained.

"You talk too much. Do you have to explain all of that?" Melinda nudged him silently and Kyle nodded his head.

"I had no idea that happened," Flynn shook his head.

"It's my fault. That driver, Mark also diéd because of me," Melanie whispered with a fallen countenance.

"Come on, none of it is your fault. Trust me, I'll make all of them pay for messing with my family," Flynn raised a brow in determination.

"You better do. Make all of them pay," Elle hissed.

Devon and his men barged inside the royal land hotel where they had received a tip that Hazel was. The guards at the hotel couldn't stop Devon, he was recognized as the famous business tycoon right-hand man.

When they arrived at the lobby, his phone rang and he picked up the call immediately.

"She is in room 204. I can't come to you because I'll be considered a whistleblower. Don't forget our agreement when you find her, okay?''

"Send your account detail. I'll settle you as soon as I've confirmed your information," Devon answered then ended the call.

Devon walked slowly to the receptionist and placed his hand on the table that demarcate him and the receptionist.

"Hazel Giovanna. What is her room number?'' Devon asked as he stared at the beautiful woman behind the counter.

"Sorry, there is no one by that name here," the woman replied shortly after she checked the list of the people that lodged in the hotel.

''I'm sure this woman is here then,'' Devon said as he removed Hazel's picture that was in his chest pocket.

''She was here with a kid," Devon added.

"May I ask what business you have with her? We can't just give you the information of our clients," the receptionist answered.

"Didn't you see the news? She's on the wanted list. What is her room number?'' Devon asked.

"But..."

"Thanks for your cooperation. We will see again," Devon smiled at her then turned to leave.

"Hey!'' the receptionist shouted but Devon had begun to ascend the stairs with his men already.

''But... I didn't permit him to go..." the receptionist whispered.

*

Devon stood in front of the door of room 204, peeked at the men behind him, nodded his head, and pressed the bell simultaneously.

"Who is there!?"

Devon widened his eyes as soon as recognized the unmistakable voice of the Italian woman, Hazel.

"Room service," Devon creased his brow as heard a feminine voice and looked around.

He stared at the young beautiful woman who turned out to be the receptionist.

"You..." Devon started and the receptionist hurriedly covered his mouth with her palm.

"Shsh..." she mouthed.

"I did not fûcking remember calling for a room service!" Hazel retorted back.

"It's no problem, ma'am. I would like to give you something we present to the clients that spend more than a day with us," the receptionist said with a wide smile, and Devon couldn't help but wonder why she was smiling so hard.

Was it because of the reward money? Or is she just always like this?

Ugh, whatever.

"I don't need it," Hazel answered back.

''Come on, ma'am. It's a wine and you are going to love it, trust me," the receptionist smiled.

"Fûck!" the receptionist giggled slightly as she heard Hazel shout.

Hazel unlocked the door from behind and as soon as he opened it, Devon kicked the door wide open with his leg.

"Ta-da!'' He smiled as he watched the horrific look on Hazel's face.

"Dàmn!!" Hazel screamed.

As Devon made to enter, the receptionist grabbed his arm swiftly.

"It was me who called. Since you've confirmed that she is the one, I'll send my account detail. By the way, you are very cool. I am Tara!" the receptionist half screamed and hurried away.

Devon smiled as he watched her run away but was jerked back to reality as soon as he heard Beverly's screams.

"You think I will let you catch me? Damn, you are mistaken. Leave here, or I will stab her!" Hazel screamed as she pulled Beverly closer and grabbed the knife that was in the tray on the stool then placed It on Beverly's neck.

''Mum..." Beverly whimpered.

"Hey! Let go of the child this instant!'' Devon yelled.

"No, you leave here this instant!" Hazel yelled back and Devon ran his hand through his hair.

Beverly must not get hurt, and he must not leave this damn hotel empty-handed.

God, devil dwell in this fatherfûcking Italian bîtch, there is no fücking doubt about that.

"Let go of Beverly, we can sort this out!" Devon shouted.

''What do you take me for? A føöl? Come off it! Leave here or I'll kîll this child," Hazel growled.

"How can a mother think of hurting her baby. You are so cruel!" Devon shook his head.

''Mother? Who is a mother? I'm fücking nobody's mother, you freaking asshøle!'' Hazel screamed and Beverly whined in pain as the knife slightly pierced her neck.

"You are so horrible. Your game is over, bîtch. Boss is out of coma and now, your end is so near," Devon smirked.

"No, no, no! How dare he be out of coma!?'' Hazel screamed and Devon laughed.

"Let go of that girl," Devon removed his pistol from his pocket and took a step closer to Hazel.

"Step back!" Hazel screamed as she raised the knife while Devon removed a silencer from his pocket and locked it with the mouth of the pistol.

"Let go of the girl or I'll shoot!" Devon yelled.

"I said you should say back or I will stab her. Step back! Devon!" Hazel screamed as she stabbed Beverly in the chest in a blink of an eye.

"Hazel!" Devon pulled the trigger of the gun and as Hazel wanted to stab Beverly on the chest again, Devon targeted her hand and released a shot immediately which made Hazel drop the knife as she winced in pain.

"Fúck!'' Devon dashed towards Hazel and hurriedly snatch Beverly from her.

"Beverly!" Devon shouted as he stared at her.

"Take her! Hurry to the hospital!" Devon shouted, another man snatched Beverly from him then ran out of the room.

"You are doomed, trust me," Devon glared at Hazel that was wincing in pain.

Fúck, he is doomed as well.
