In "Phantom Heroes Online," a VRMMO where in-game currency can be converted to real money, a man, worn out by society, decides to quit his job and earn a living through gaming. 

In this fantasy world of swords and magic, players contract with advanced AI NPCs, aiding and nurturing them.

The protagonist, Zephyr, whimsically tells a young girl a lie, claiming to be her savior. Believing Zephyr to be the "god who rescued her from despair," the yandere girl transforms into the formidable "Reaper Loli," a top-tier berserker feared as the "Fanatic" across the continent. 

She rises to become one of the game's top players, dominating the leaderboards.

Unbeknownst to Zephyr and the other players, their actions in the game are actually leading to saving of another world.

And along with her I who had no intention of becoming a top-ranking player was dragged too.

The game I decided to play is the world's first full-dive VRMMO called Phanom Heroes Online.

This game lets you exchange in-game currency and items for real money.

So, even though I haven't played it yet, I already love PHO, where one can earn money just by playing.

Thus, my first VR game experience begun.

I am a big fan of both the yandere and game genre so I was really happy when I saw this novel. I think it is a unique concept that has a lot of potential so good job author and I wish you good luck on all your future endeavors.

well. I really hoped it wouldn't be this way. but it seems it's 'that' kind of story.

I hereby declare this an 'over the top' kind of story where the characters overdose on their actions and reactions.

Also just 4 demon generals b4 the demon king, well....short story?

I was def drawn in by the idea of the story and how the beginning started, but the conversations and the way the protag acts is too much in line with a jp mc of an anime when it comes to their speech and ideas.

Some ppl like that, but I, for one, don't. The idea was really good, I just think the story background and the mindlessness of the npc the mc contracted is a bit too much to handle.

The EXAMPLE of why I left: after defeating the demon general and unlocking the timelocked zone, they get a new weapon and are Bing-chillin until all of a sudden, a big beetle rushes them!?

What's the thing to do? Clearly, it's to use a skill that takes 90% OF YOUR HP TO KILL THIS BIG BEETLE (who is def stronger than the demon general who you just got finished fighting after hours of combat [-_-])!?

It's the kind of overkill that is just unnecessary, in fact I would liken it to the character from overlord, except overlord had a good world background and supporting cast of characters and other concepts that kept it going.

Not saying this story is bad at all, but I guess I had too much expectations on what the main characters were gonna be like.

Def give this a try though, at least 15 ch so you can make your own decision on whether this story is worth.
