I'm walking right now along the road as I noticed in my peripheral vision two figures- it was a son and his father by the river side, happily playing together.
I felt bitter. I'm jealous of them.
I don't know what it feels like to have a dad, to be raised by one. I thought.
My only anchor was my mom who worked almost non stop to provide for the both of us. I'm extremely grateful to mom as she raised me patiently, full of care and love, my mom's strong. I love her.
Contemplating, I remembered about the bullying I've experienced as I struggled to understand why I was being targeted by them.
I like the view here on the riverside, it's stunning. The river is as calm as it can be, the water is greenish blue but still clear enough to see the stones at the bottom.
I chuckled. I remember first time being here and it was extremely hot so I decided to go and swim near the tree where the shade goes. I almost drowned because I thought it wasn't deep-which was a grave mistake as it was really deep. I'm glad I survived that day and of course, I didn't tell mom because if I did, I'll be scolded.
I don't know why but I felt suddenly hot so I took off my hoodies, there were no people that can see me so it was okay. I think.
Even after taking it off, I can still feel the heat that's why I decided to go near the tree where I always go to when I needed time for myself.
As I walked I was jolted by the pain coursing through my body.
"Aaaaaaghhhhh" I groaned.
My strength went away as my body fell onto the ground as I reached the tree. The heat I felt seeped through every inch of my being.
What the fuck is happening right now? Am I dying? It hurts like hell.
I could feel the boiling heat through my skin, it felt as if lava flows through my veins.
This hurts even more than the beating I endured by Marco and his gang.
"Haaaahhh gaaaaaah" I clutched my chest as I could suddenly hardly breathe, I was gasping-hyperventilating.
My body was suddenly hard, I could not move my fingers, my arms, and legs, as if every joint in my body locked.
"Help! Somebody help me, please!"
I tried my best to shout to call out for help but my voice hardly came out.
My body is writhing in pain, I was like a worm that has been cut in two as I wriggled to ease the pain. If someone saw me they'd think I was possessed. Suddenly a surge cold feeling emerged, the heat that I felt through my body disappeared as this shivering coldness enveloped all over me.
Fuck. I think I'm dying.... Mom....

A blinding light seared through my eyelids.
"Arghhhhh" I groaned as I sat up. Remembering the agony I felt earlier.
The pain that I felt earlier was gone but in fact, I felt better. Did something happened to my body? Was there something wrong inside me?
I checked the phone and it's already 6pm.
Looking around me, it was as bright as day time. I noticed above that there were different lights emanating across the sky. It was like an aurora borealis.
I still can't believe that this happened, it's already the second day and still the radiant light really is true.
I tidied myself up and wore my hoodie. I checked the internet and to be expected, every person on earth has experienced this. It's supposed to be dark yet it's bright as daytime.
I hurriedly went home to check if mom was already here but I was wrong.
Upon turning on my laptop, I decided to go to the bathroom to wash my face. I took off my hoodie and shirt.
"What the fuck" I muttered.
What the hell is going on right now? I still can't believe what I'm seeing in the mirror.
My bruises, cuts- they were gone.
I rubbed my eyes to see if I was half asleep, I slapped myself to know if I was dreaming or not, it hurt so I know I was not dreaming.
"This if fucking weird." I said as I traced the places where my bruises and cuts were supposed to be.
I hurriedly went back to search about what happened to me.
"My body suddenly went hot and felt an excruciating pain." I searched but there were no results.
"My body felt like I was poured with lava and my body got hard" yet again, there was no result.
Do I have to tell mom about this? I don't know what to say, she might over react.
*Riing*
I picked up my phone, it was mom.
"Son are you okay there? " She asked.
"Yes how about you there mom?" I replied.
"I'm okay, I was worried about you and this weird phenomenon happening right now. Oh my gosh is the world ending?" She said
"I don't know either, mom. I watched the television earlier and they said it was some solar flares, comets or whatever but still no one really knows what is it" I replied.
"Oh son, I'm glad you're okay. You ate right? I'm sorry I'm not there with you but I promise I'll take a day off this coming week and we'll go to the mall." She apologized.
"It's okay mom. Thank you I'll look forward to it and don't worry, I've been eating lots."
"Okay son, stay safe there, I need to go back to work. I love you"
"I love you too mom. Take care".
What the hell is happening in this world right now? And also that weird thing happened to me, my bruises and cuts- it disappeared.
Is the world ending right now? I thought as I looked through the window, witnessing the radiance outside.
