Chereads / Racemic race / Chapter 4 - That's it! I challenge you.

Chapter 4 - That's it! I challenge you.

Oh...what a sight to see.

Blood rain, A decapitated head flying to wherever it was going, food everywhere. Intestines stuck to the ceiling like a chandelier, one arm was on the chair at the far corner, the other was on the little table where the crystal ball was supposed to be...maybe the arm had knocked it down during their shuffle.

One eye was burning away in the lantern where it landed strangely. A Part of the pelvis was nailed to the wall and the other half was on the window. The legs? One half was somewhere in the kitchen, The other half was stuck on the antlers of the animal head hanged as a trophy.

In the middle of everything, the blood, the body parts, the organs of which his kidney was nailed to the other wall with a knife, Riya was on the floor, she lay back on the wall and was laughing, reveling in the feeling of victory.

Who is this whose parts were flying around? Pudding. That's what happens when you challenge a Qyshol but you might not understand so I would go back to 2 minutes ago.

~~~2 minutes before~~~
That's it! I challenge you" Pudding shouted like a mad man, He hated being ignored
Running forward he tackled her to the ground, Something he should not have done.
Pudding did not waste any time, he repeatedly punched Riya, his punches were enforced with the little magic she had given to him, talk about getting a taste of your own medicine.
Riya recovered from the shock quickly, she dug her claws into him running her hand upwards making sure he felt it. A smirk graced her face as he whimpered.
She pulled out her claws and pushed him away from her, using her magic to get the knife she threw it at Pudding who just managed to scramble to his feet. The force was so powerful that when the knife went through him it took his kidney, both were nailed to the wall like a hammer was used to pin it there.
"Oh no! You lost a kidney." Riya taunted, feigning shock "What would make it better is if you lost some other organs, so it doesn't feel lonely. Like your eye, let's fix that." Riya smirked. She ran to him using the chair as a lift she jumped, giving him a punch in the eye, he was sent flying back and crashing into the kitchen with Riya, where all the sharp objects were.
Riya pulled him back, sending the food in the pot flying into the living room, one would think it was art...if there was no blood. He wasn't escaping this one, being in the kitchen would give him a quick death. He was pulled back to the living room staining the floor with his blood gushing out of the hole where one kidney used to be. She returned the punches, hitting him in the eye. After four or five blows she once again used her claws, pulling out the eye and throwing it away.
"I...will... participate...in...the...race." Riya said in between punches, this time they were focused on the other eye. As if he got a new surge of energy Pudding pushed her back, he got up to show his defiance, grabbing the iron whip by his side, the one Riya used to 'entertain' unwanted visitors he tried to hit her, but she avoided it, she held the whip and dragged him with it, and when he was about to fall from the force she held his hand tightly and then ripped it apart.
He grunted in pain and with his other hand he took a swing at her again, this time making sure the rusted iron thorns on the whip pierced into her.
Riya took a sharp breath, showing no emotion. She tried to grab whatever she could as her vision turned blurry, she couldn't understand what happened.
After 2 seconds the dizziness disappeared, like it wasn't there. Angry that he used the disgusting thing on her she grabbed his pelvis, sinking her claw into it she ripped it off. Throwing it away like all the parts she had thrown away. She held his legs, giving him no time to scream in pain she tore them out too.
Pudding looked like some pitiful person, like all his hope had dissolved and like he wouldn't put up a fight but instead he shocked Riya by scrambling to try to get up, he gathered energy in his remaining hand, trying to put his body back together. But Riya wouldn't have it, she ripped the other hand, throwing it on the table where her crystal ball was, knocking it down.
"Still up for that challenge, Pudding?" She mocked him.
"It's not fair! You always win." He screamed at her, Riya was sure if his limbs were still on him he would jump at her again.
"Why wouldn't I? Would you prefer I start screaming the moment you throw your weak punches?" She tried her best tolerate his baby nature, but sometimes he needed to be humiliated, whether it was hanging him by his balls to show him he doesn't have the balls to do anything or smearing shit on his face when he talked trash, Riya knew how to keep him in check
They had a little stare off, one in which she cursed him and she was sure he cursed at her too.
Pudding hated this, he hated that she could get to him like this. So he used the only thing he knew would get her angry.
"My weak punches captured your mother's heart." He smirked.
"What did you say?" She inched closer to him. The disbelief overpowering the anger.
"Oh you didn't know about it." He feigned ignorance. "I was your mother's lover, I made your mother scream with my weak punches, I may even be your father." He tried to look serious.
Riya started laughing, she couldn't believe pudding would stoop so low, her mother had no lovers, she was sure of it. What has he been listening to?
She wheezed and tried to breath, it was so funny, her laughter got contagious and it got to Pudding.
He laughed too, at the fact that he had pieced one leg and one arm together while Riya was laughing. He stood up and tried to punch her again with all the magic he had mustered but Riya caught it, once again she pulled his limbs apart and decapitated his head. That's what he got for speaking ill of her mother. And then she sat down laughing at his silly joke and also reveling in the feeling of victory...only something didn't feel right deep down.
~~~~~~~~~~~~🌹~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Stupid shadow." Riya removed the beads of sweat from her face, she was piecing together Pudding's body. It had been 5 hours since their fight and she was starting to feel guilty for killing him but she would never admit that.

She was currently at the head, trying to shove one vein in the other, she didn't like using magic to do everything, it drained her. So instead she widened one end of the vein by sticking her finger in and she put the other in it and dropped it carefully, any disturbance and it would remove again.

"I see you've got your hands full" Hayden said. "With a head." He smiled.

"This is all your fault, if you had delivered the letter in private then I wouldn't be doing this." She huffed, frustrated, as If she hadn't seen enough blood.

"Why would I do that? Your little..." He paused looking for the right words "Babysitter needs to know where you'll be going. Not that he won't find out." Riya knew he was holding back information.

"I liked the show too, my highlight was when you removed the head." He spread his hands shaking it like fireworks "Dazzling!"

"Don't you want to know more about the race?" He asked moving closer to the table, they were in her operating theatre, she wasn't a doctor but she had opened a lot of bodies.

"I am busy, can't you see that!?" She yelled clearly frustrated. Pudding was still a pain in the ass even when he was dead.

"I can help you with that." He inched closer.

"What are you doing?" Riya moved the table looking at him with caution. Her question was clearly a caveat.

"Trying to help you. Now come closer." Riya moved back, he certainly did not want to help her.

"No thanks. Will you move back? I can manage." Hayden moved even more close making sure there wasn't any space left. He wanted to be mischievous.

He moved his hand touching Pudding's lifeless body. "Stop! Leave him alone." She held the head and the body carrying it around. One would think she was mad carrying a dead body like that.

A struggle ensued

"Let me help you." Hayden dragged the body

"No, you've done enough, thank you." Riya dragged it back.

"I haven't done anything yet!" He pulled.

"And that's enough! Give me the body." She pulled, making the veins rip and blood spill out.

"All my hard work!" She stared in shock at the body pooling out blood.

"You'll pay for this!, You...you...you'll be the one to bring him back." She pointed and glared at him.

"Yeah, yeah, let me tell you about the race." He waved it off like it was nothing.

"Can we go talk somewhere else?" He stared at Pudding with disgust. The marks on his body were disgusting.

"Don't look at him like that. There will be no scars once I bring him back." Riya felt a need to defend because she caused those marks.

"I didn't say anything, it's your guilty conscience."

"Do you want some water?" It wasn't out of courtesy, it was to clear the awkwardness, nobody ever knows what to say after putting a head back together right?

"Is that the best you can offer?"

"I could offer you your head on a silver platter" Riya mumbled but Hayden heard it.

"Sorry I didn't hear that." Riya knew he heard her, she didn't see the need to repeat it.

"What can I get you?" She didn't even bother to force a smile; the glare she gave him was enough to melt him if he were ice cream.

"I don't want anything. You know the show would be aired live on all stations right?" Hayden sat on the bloodied couch, that was the only thing Riya hadn't cleaned up yet.

"Don't play with me xreo." She expected Hayden to have a stupid idea in his head, but this was over the top.

"Oh" he scratched his head "did I forget to include it?"

"But don't worry. It's only for our dimension, other dimensions won't be able to watch anything." He added.

"How does that make it better?" Riya moved to the door.

"Get out."

"What?"

"I said get out." Riya screamed, she was frustrated and tired. She killed pudding for this? Her life was always filled with secrecy and thats how she would like to keep it.

"Riya it's not that bad..." Hayden would have continued if a punch was not administered to his face.

"Really? I would like to hear your great proposal, what's your reason for trying to put my life on display?"

"Riya please, they won't know anything about you and if you don't share anything while the microphone is on you then it's okay." The disgust was evident.

"You don't have a reason. You idiot! YOU DON'T HAVE A REASON!. You are invading my privacy and you don't have a reason." He tried to speak but she beat him to it.

"Tell me, what do you get out of this? You can't be nice for no reason, why are you trying to get me on camera? Are you running another experiment? You want to use me as your lab rat?"

"Okay I admit I didn't plan this speech. I was going to let you find out after you make an oath or something" Riya scoffed

"...but because we go way back I decided to give you a heads up. There is so much information to give to you but you will find out later, I thought that was the most important one for now."

"So...Will you come?" Hayden smiled, a smile that would break at any moment, he wasn't good at convincing, with his life on the line he was ready to use his trump card.

"No I won't!" She eyed him up and down ready to hit his head with pudding's leg if he tried anything funny.

"Please Riya, don't make me do this." He didn't want to lose the only hold he had on Riya.

"Do your worst!" She opened the door wider, it was at that time she saw Hayden's men, they were a thousand kilometres away, waiting for him to give them a signal.

"Really?" She raise her eyebrows.

"Do you think they can protect you?"

"They are to protect you" she raised her eyebrows once more " and also myself" she rolled her eyes. "When you decide to follow me, you have so many bounties on your head."

"I'm not following you so you can take them back and not worry about you getting killed by one of the bounty Hunters looking for my head."

"Please?"

"No!"

"Pretty please?"

"No, I'm not participating in that."

"Please Riya? For old times' sake?"

"No!"

"That's it I'm pulling out my trump card!" He heaved frustrated

"Oh really? Go ahead! I was wondering when you were going to use that thing. I hate being indebted to someone."

He removed the red necklace on his neck, the one that held two drops of her blood

"You said If I ever needed anything I should show you this and you would help me." He place it in her hand.

She moved her hand to where the sun was, trying to see the blood. "It's half empty, it's not valid." She tossed it at him, he barely caught it.

"That Is because I was almost killed and the person trying to kill me accidentally broke the vial. I thought you said it was indestructible?!"

"That's not possible, that vial can't be broken by anything in this dimension."

"Who said anything about being in this dimension?" Hayden smirked, a smirk which was wiped off by the punch Riya sent his way.

"Okay. I'll follow you but you have to show me the person stupid enough to break my vial. We have unfinished business." Riya was slowly getting angry, that vial was crafted by her mother and her mother had given her a stupid tale with it. In her words "only your soulmate can break this vial leaving it half full."

"After the race I will show you, I promise.

What about your babysitter?" He asked pointing at the bloodied couch.

"Leave him there, you said you'd piece him back together, I'm expecting it." That was more of a warning. And with that she got on her broom.
