Chapter 9 - Dagonfall II - Wrath

Province of Dagonfall - Middle Second Era

Up until this point, Dagon saw no meaning in confronting the humans face to face, but after half the region was completely razed by humans and Dragons and allied human corpses transformed the landscape by kilometers, he felt a deep disturbance in the very earth, who was drinking in so much blood, the ancient spirts of the forest started dying, the taste of the water and the fruits were different somehow.

Dagon could see something that very few living beings could in between the earthly ground and the far distant skies, there's a a 'glass layer' who reflects the supernatural forces acting on that place, and when Dagon looked at the "Mirror of spirits", he could see red iron and explosions of fire. A vision like this was too much for most living beings to bear in naked eyes, looking at the mirror of spirits, it was like seeing a overwhelming force vibrating through your skull and burning behind your eyes. And in this special case, when Dagon looked at this mirror, he sees the reflect of God Arkan's unbearable rage.

Seeing this force, Dagon decided it was time to act, channeling this very force who tainted the mirror of spirits together with his own unknown sorcery, the did a ritual who awoke one of the most destructive natural weapons, the volcano, which was sleeping for a millennia before the first Nokhians had put his feet on this world and now it just a mountain for the unsuspected eye.

But now it was awaken thanks to Dagon sorcery and Nokhians rage...

Suddenly, as Agum's was preparing another attack, a earthquake starts, one strong enough for some people to fall down, it only lasted for a minute, but then a strong rain starts, Agum's warriors started to talk about what was happening and go back to their tents or looking for more trustable shelter

A hour later, the rain was strong as ever, and floods started to raise, and water currents started to make their way down the hills violently against the Nokhians tents, destroying almost every tent and wooden wall it meets. Agum's legions were in panic, not being able to understand what's happening or if it's going to get worse, but then, another earthquake that completely ruined all of the Agum's legions camps across the province, and now, they could see... the largest mountain on the province started to spill fire and lava, and waves of ashes started to spread across the air...

By this moment, more than half Agum's legions had their spirits shaken or even broken as they see the very skies and earth turn against them. But a new powerful emotion took control of Agum's heart, he knew "Dagon is coming", and a smile appeared on his face as he's confident he'll finally have a chance to slay the Eldritch lord by his own hands, and in the midst of the chaos, Agum's shouted

"Dagon! I will not be defeated! Come and get me!"

And then, he started to heading out in the direction of the volcano, feeling in his guts he'd meet Dagon there.
