The heir to the Ten Dragons Clan. Since the arrival of the Demon King, he has handled more responsibility at 22 years old than many of his elders. He is charismatic, extremely handsome, and his naturally sunned skin is rippling with muscles. Due to his looks and frequent night outings, he is rumoured to be a womaniser, but he has also never shirked his duties as an ordained hero.

He wields a halberd in battle, preferring to sweep aside his enemies with raw strength. This often leads to enemies believing he is unwieldy and susceptible to fast attacks. A fatal error.

As a hero who carries the blood of dragons inside him, it is said that his stamina far exceeds those of ordinary humans.

Raine, the Mirror Blade.

The protagonist and leader of the hero party. Originally the son of a common merchant family, he has been given the title of the Mirror Blade due to his unique ability to match the weapon skills of his enemies. He plans to force the Demon King to a draw while his companions strike the lethal blow. As he is only as strong or as weak as the enemy in front of him, he heavily relies on his party in battle.

At 18 years old, he is unremarkable in physical appearance. He has average build and height, and often feels overwhelmed by the envious looks he receives when standing beside his girlfriend, Iris. He often ponders his fortune that he was the one to rescue her.
